What car did you have at 16?

Got my license at 17 and had a 1988 Toyota Camry Wagon with a flywheel that had teeth missing, so you had to hop up and down on the drivers seat to get the flywheel to turn when you wanted to start the car.

CVCC was a year and a half away when this car came out. This was 1170 cc, 8 valve, sohc, claiming ~60 crank hp. It had all kinds of weird JDM stuff like the washer was a bag strapped to the firewall that you squeezed with you foot to put water on the windshield and the knobs were all pull-out and looked like they were stolen off a 70s era cigarette machine....

I got 47 penalty points on that car and had my license suspended 3 times so, it ain't what you drive, it's how you drive it. Though I have to admit, seeing a Nissan GTR with a New Driver tag on it near my house is pushing that concept a bit far.
friggin rich kids
I had a rd400 which I modded to the point of, well I was a machinist at the time, I worked at a valve factory that made valves for exotic s***
and I was bored.
my RD had titanium head nuts the washers were hasteloy C .

the list goes on and on titanium foot pegs, I hogged out the pots and fitted 6 petal reed valves from the 360 enduro and 36mm mikunis bla bla bla

best I got was 132 by the tach. had it down to around 310 lb wet

now all you need is money

2000 nissan sentra, atx, had a stalling problem due to unknown reasons, there was a recall on the car and i didn't get the memo, beat to s***, drove like hell.......when i turned 18 i bought my mazda3.

1972 El Camino w/ 350. Most kids will never know what it means to have to fill up with gas AND oil....well, maybe the rotary nuts :)

When I was 17ish my dad bought my mom a new car, and I got her old car, a 89 Chevy Celebrity with a 2.8 v6 and a 5 speed manual.

I read all over the place that GM's cars from that generation where bad, and of course if I compare it with the cars i've known since, then yes, I agree that it wasn't a top notch effort; but I have so many fond memories of that car, and it never ever let me down, even if I drove it like a stupid teen sometimes.

'69 Buick Special 2-DR Coupe w/350 V8

It was my grandfather's car - Grandma didn't drive, so after my dad had it a while, it came to me. I loved that car.

My first car, an 04 Corolla S. Keep in mind I'm no photographer by any standards, and I never really had a proper photoshoot for it lol. Still my daily driver, however =)

That car was a death trap. Any speed over 50mph and it felt like it was going to blow up.

I started driving when I was 14 and legally when i turned 18! lol I haven't wrecked or totalled a car yet! My first car was a v8 monte carlo. In fact my first 4 cars were v8 fwd and rwd. I've done some stupid stuff but who hasn't and I'll be 26 next month!

I didn't have a driver's license until I was almost 18 (just never wanted one...ironic now, actually). My first vehicle was a Jeep Cherokee...the first vehicle I owned (personally...not my parents) was a 94 Mx6 LS

I was big pimpin in one of these in blue

The van that looks like it's driving backwards lol. My friend's neighbors used to have one and we'd laugh so hard at it when they drove in it. It was like a family event when they'd leave the house. All 10 of them would hop in..
