Im thinkingn about going ahead and picking up the mazda all weather rubber floormats for the 2010 3. However, I did read from someone that the rear cargo tray was thin and plasticy. Does anybody have the all weather matts and can you coment on the quality? I have a 20% off coupon for my dealership that makes them pretty inviting...

I have them and the quality seems very good. Very thick and sturdy but it will not cover the dead pedal area. You may have heard the description of the cargo tray from me too. Its not that bad. Its thin, but it is sort of rubbery. Put it this way, its good for putting miscellaneous things back there and not have them slide around...but not sure how the longevity might be.

I have a question for you about the cargo tray... Is it fixed in to the floor by drilling holes or something like that. Because when I asked my dealer to put in the cargo tray and the cargo net during my first oil change, he said that there will be like $50 installation charges because they have to drill holes and stuff. Is that true? I thought that we just place the tray in the cargo area and we are good to go

I got the four all weather floor mats for my 2010 Mazda 3 and they're nice. Less than $70 from my local Mazda dealer. The mats that came with the car were like velcro with everything sticking to them whereas these rubber ones just wash off. Look nice as well. They have the alignement holes in the front mats. I liked them enough to get a pair for my daughter's 07 Mazda 3. I don't think I'll need the mat for the trunk.

I think they need to drill holes for the Cargo net. There are flanged pieces that drill into the side of the trunk that the net attaches to and they need to be secured very well since the net is stretched to attach.

No holes for the tray(I have one) I just let it sit in the sun for awhile then dropped it in.

Mazda pic - OEM Part Number: 0000-8B-L60. $62.40 shipped here.

I have the cargo tray. No holes, no drilling needed - just slide the tray right in. Cargo net just clips to hooks on the sides. You can do both yourself and finish in less than a minutes.

+1 I also have the cargo tray. No drilling needed. TBH, I thought it was a little thicker/stronger. They must be cutting back...

I also have the cargo tray, and it just slides in. I find the quality to be quite good actually. I negotiated to have it thrown in for free. The lips will come in handy as I have to lug around my ball teams beer cooler; this way I won't have to worry about spills.
