how much.....to replace the turbo if smoke....

hey guy.....jusy want to know how much to to replace the turbo if it smoke.......without warranty...

i am the third owner of the my speed 6 and i am not sure i am cover by warranty..... i am afraid that the smoke will out if i put aftermarket exhuast

the turbo is not blown because of smoke....read some other threads and you'll find that out.

try the test that to see i stated in one of my posts to see if that stops the smoking.


EDIT:
this will basically tell you if the part will work for you.

start the car and let it sit until it starts smoking....
while its still running disconnect the breather hose from the valve cover and plug the intake side of it with your finger so unmetered air isn't getting into your intake. then with your other hand cover a majority of the valve cover breather outlet so only a bit of air can get in, the smoking should decrease or stop all together.

so is the turbo seal right?

your turbo seals are probably fine. if it only smokes at idle then they are ok. if they were blown it would smoke all the time.
