Here are the pics of the 2010 MS3 I just purchased. See if you can figure out the "best of both worlds" line. (drinks)

Black for obvious reasons...

Not sure what it is to figure out. And I'm definitely not sure wtf miley cyrus has to do with any of this. But congrats on the car! Looks pretty damn... new! haha Call me crazy but... I'm thinkin black just might become the most popular choice for gen.

Obviously the black paintjob hides the (what most are considering hideous) joker face (black grille) pretty well. If I had to get a '10 and couldn't do anything to it... the black would be the easy winner. Since the grille is black... I'm wondering if the other colors would benefit from the grille being painted the same color. This would essentially create the 'black effect' without (no offense to the OP) the need to wash your car everyday. Hmm... might have to do a little P'shopping.

msp and ms3? old school and new?
bingo! I need to ditch 2 Nissans. :) One of them is my autocross car though..

Thanks and I think you're right!

I'm liking it in black. Congrats on ur new ride.
thankyou sir

@chico: I think a lot of people may not realize it, but the grill actually isn't even black. It's a dark grey color. It's VERY close though. There was also a silver one on the lot. It looks decent with the grill too. I would imagine (hope?) the aftermarket might help take care of this grill issue at some point. heh

I know it might be too early to think about your first mod but...

I'm thinkin powdercoated wheels (a shade or two darker) and tints would look sick on this car.. Oh and be sure to take the Capital Mazda crap off the back. Nice to see you didn't put a front plate on. Hopefully that's legal in your state. Even if it's not... stick with it.

Needs a drop that is for sure but man is that black gorgeous! Enjoy! Anyone know if current MS3 mods will fit on the 2010 or are 2010 owners going to have to wait 6 months for everything to be re-engineered?

I love it! I'm thinking more and more about getting one. How is the new gearing, i read in dsport that 4th and 5th are different?

the velocity red color also looks nice and it matchs better de inside of the car i my opinion

Agree 100% on the tint job. I'm already lining up someone to do it. I've gotta figure out how to get the "advertising" off the back. The plate frame is an easy fix but I'm not sure how to get the stickers off without scratching the paint. I'll search the forum for some tips. Fortunately, we don't need front plates here. :) I'd love to put a CAI on it and upgrade the exhaust eventually. Those will probably be my first two power mods. We'll see what's unveiled in the next few months. I've gotta get some kind of EM for my MSP so that's the priority right now.

I haven't had a lot of time to drive it yet, but there seems to be a fair amount of power on tap in almost any gear. I'm not sure of the feel vs. a previous ms3 because I've never driven one, but the ratios are different (from what I've read here on the forums.)
