The first one is your best I think. Turn the wheels a little more so we can see dem things a little more. Don't be bashful, show 'em off!

#2 goes to the problem that it's_yellow was talking about with stuff in the background. You have telephone lines, a truck, curbs and a fence there. Make sure everything in the picture is perfect and exactly what you want. The surroundings should be highlighting the car, not distracting/detracting from it.

#3 would be awesome if it were in focus. Always take a few pictures from the same place just in case one is out of focus, or too dark, etc.

If you have photoshop, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to throw them in there to get your light levels right, level and crop the photo and do an unsharp mask on it. That's usually all the post-production I do.

Lemme know if you want any other help or clarification... we're all here to help each other out!

mmm i wanna ride in a protege with bc's to experience what everyones raving about

well evidently... they're not all they're cracked up to be..

i'm gonna go w/ AWRs or KWs..

this'll be for my track car. so i'll save for them. ideally, i'd like to save up for the ones in the FS forum.

thanks for the comments. Yea i took probably 25 shots of the first pic and picked which one came out best. I can see what ur saying about the second pic. Ill try some pshop work on it. Your welcome to try if u want. hehe. The last pic was the funniest. I was parked under a overpass and i would run out to the middle of the road when there was no cars and snap a few pics. I have a few others that came out nice but i liked these the most. Yea, ItsYellow gives me pointers whenever i see him so im slowly learning. I want a slr tho.

Valk - I keep going back and forth about putting the wing back on. I hate the holes and i like the wingless look. (shrug)

this might be the first time i've seen you post up here badbandar...? nice opening round! good lighting in all the shots. that last one would have been the money shot if it were sharper. you either need a steadier hand, a faster shutter speed, or a tripod... or you just need to run in and out of the road faster! haha...

thanks for the suggestion yellow. i only have a point and shoot, and do not edit my pics.

and nice pics everyone

I'll definitely throw them into photoshop tonight and play around a little bit. I totally know what you mean about the last shot. I've pulled over to the side of the road a number of times and have had to wait for cars thinking they had the right to get in my shot! The nerve! Its all about patience, though. Wait for the perfect moment and then hit the trigger. Its like being a sniper - you have pleantly of opportunities, but you have to wait for the PERFECT opportunity to take the shot; and when you do, make it count.

And don't over estimate the power of a point 'n shoot. Altspace, one of the best photographers on here, uses a point 'n shoot camera and I have one that I carry with me everywhere. I've taken some awesome shots with it. Remember, a camera takes pictures, but the photographer captures an image.

Here's an example of a quick photo I took with my point 'n shoot:

I agree with Flyinhawaiian on the point and shoot. My dad and I use a 30D, 40D, and have a point and shoot as well, and it has taken some of the best pictures we have.
