What have you done to your P5 today?

Just got the crap scared out of me....

Past- my old mp3 was broken into 2 times...

Now... Im watching shooter on TNT. and im like.. odd... i dont remember a car alarm in that part of the movie. So i mute it and still hear it. Crap thats mine. grab the gun and my wifes set of keys since i cant fine mine. run down. all is clear. car is locked. no damage etc. turn the alarm off and lock. go upstairs and look for my keys cant fine them. remember I am washing the pants i wore last time i drove the car. hurmmmm open up the washer take the chloths out and vola!!! there is a mazda key and remote.

so... lesson of the night. if you wash your mazda remote it will set off the alarm. and after the spin dry the remote is dry and still works.

hahaha ive done that when the motorola razr first came out, that phone was "the s***" and after having it for a month i forgot it in my jeans and put it through the washer. I guess phones arnt as resilient as car remotes.

still having issues with the p5... last night i managed to superheat the turbo... excxhaust housing was red hot... im gonna change the plugs.. i jjust changed em a few days ago.. and gapped them to 32.. i am still eating them like candy.. the last plugs were gapped to .044 they seemd to make s*** run hot as hell... but i gapped em to 32 and it is worse... but its the turbo that is heating up.. makin no power unless the motor is cold.. I check the timing.. hell i have a new motor im cleaning up at the shop... i need to pull the head from that and hot tank it.. then its off to the underside.. ...

im tempted to get away from boost.... ehh maybe not... maybe a new manifold and down pipe will help with the new motor and engine management put in....

Put the Tokico shocks and springs in this weekend. Had to cut all the nuts off at the sway bar end of the stock endlinks. Just took an air grinder and cut them down the middle and pried them off. Didn't take pictures of the install cause my hands were too greasy.
Those spring compressors were a pain in the ass! Everything went well I think. There might be a clunk in the front passenger side though. I'm not sure yet. Can anyone tell me why those dots have to go a certain way on the front? I think I got them right but I *might* not have...

Those dots are so you put the strut hats back in the same way on each side. If you rotate those it actualy will change your camber or caster depending on how the hat is moved (mostly caster)
