Need some lowering spring advise

if you dont have a lot of money and want to lower, get an eibach spring. Eibach is bouncy tho. Had it before for my civic. i think Cobb is as close you can get to the stock spring.

if you have load of money, get a coilover set like BC coilover which can adjust the heigh and ride comfort.

I have Roadmagnets on mine and love the look. As for the ride, it is a little bumpy but, not bad at all. I have had them on since I have had the car and I have 20,000 miles on it with no problems.

+1 on the roadmagnets... Very aggressive drop.

how are the VOGTLANDs treating you?? any one know what the spring rates are?
The Vogtland springs are pretty good. The springs give the car a rake(front being lower than the back). The ride quality is firm , but not harsh. I will get some pics up later today.

Stock springs...

IMO, the stock dampers aren't really even adequate for the stock springs, so any aftermarket lowering spring is going to be even worse.

(yupnope)

haha. ya, i think i saw you say that to someone else but i didn't wanna quote you. i'm going to get coilovers i just can't get them yet. and if i go 17" wheels, it's going to look silly small without a low job. haha.

My 17's weren't too small. One inch smaller than stock with a 225/45 tire. My BC coils lowered the car a little but not much and the wheels look fine.

you're right, yours do look good. i may be the most indecisive person on this earth.

I know the feeling.... It took me forever to decide on wheels. First I wanted 18's and then 17's but then wanted the 18's again lol. Same with the decision between 7 or 8 or 9 inches wide. In the end I'm glad I went with the 17x8. Lightweight and the inch smaller keeps it from rubbing on the fender and 9 in wheels would've been nice but I was not sure how they would fit. The coils also help that since they are so stiff I can get a wheel off the ground now!

Been using H&R Springs for about 20k miles with no problems and I love them! Just a bit bumpy cause the roads here in CA suck!!

Not to mention the fact that your suspension is now horribly underdamped...but yeah, it must just be the roads' fault! ;)
