Installed my TRZ poly rear motor mount. Very nice! The car just hooks up and drives. No grinding or missed shifts. I got it used and the vibes are still enough to shake up the mirrors and everyting. Haha, oh well.

Oh almost forgot! I installed launch control and flat foot shifting today using my AP and Access Tuner Race! Launch needs working with to find the best settings but the flat foot shifting is amazing!

Tell me more about this launch control. I did not know such a thing existed.
I took the "3" off my trunk and now it just says Mazdaspeed.
I think the cars should come like that to begin with.

Its one of the new features in Access Tuner Race, or the program used to make custom tunes using the Cobb Accessport. You set what you want the RPM to be at launch and I chose 3000 and then you set what speed you want that limiter to deactivate. I chose 10 mph. So I can floor the car all I want at a stop and the engine will stay at 3000 and when I launch it won't go past 3000 till I am doing more than 10 mph.

That is pretty bad ass. Don't you spin the tires like crazy at 3000rpm though?

Ya I do. I just set it there as a baseline. Haven't had anytime to adjust the numbers and fine tune it. I'm hoping to do that this weekend. I want to lower the RPM to 2700 and raise the speed to 14 or 15
win.

went down to cobb and let them use my car to test for the new launch control and flat foot shifting. mine is an 09 so all the bugs werent quite worked out but they think they got it after today soo should be out soon
Received and installed my Cobb AP today. Went for a drive and noticed even while into light throttle the car was may more responsive. V104 map. I have read to drive for 100 miles before going WOT, like thats going to happen. After about 15 miles and several key off and on's, I decided to go in 4th and man oh man it was scary. My boost spiked at 20 psi and held 20 psi, according to my Aeroforce scan gauge. My AFR held in the low 12's (too High I beleive) So, I'm going to ride some more tommorow and then data log using the AP and see what is happening. I flashed the Stage 2 + SF 93 octane V104map.
Oh, I also received my new tires today. Hankook V12's in stock size, they sure are purdy. It was a good but expensive day.
