What have you done to your MSP today?

Me too, but, i'll be keeping em on the car when i try to sell for that same reason

Not today but soon... I am eliminating the muffler all together and just making a "straight pipe" in it's place. I figure, I'll start there and work my way up the exhaust until I am either catless, or full on straight piped.

Question: Would eliminating the muffler release some hp's (even if it's barely noticeable) and will I sound throaty or just whiney?

Dropped it back off at the trans shop today. They have tearing down my car to a freaking art I tell ya. 1 hr and 15 min they have it tore down and have already called around for parts. One of the main bearings developed a crack in it.... fun fun

I jsut want tomarro to come, I work 5 hours of overtime! YEAH! haha, then at night im meeting up with justinlansdale and J Naoto in philly :D

Jesus Stealth. I feel bad man. I thought my simple CEL was an issue...

On that note. I was doing some research and found that the P2006 CEL is actually a fairly common problem. I was told getting a 626 IM would cure it but I also saw that the MSP's were given some pretty weak solenoids and that there are some upgraded solenoids that would fix this issue. Here's my question...

Does anyone reading this have experience with getting a P2006 and if so, how did you fix it? I've been told many things (mostly opinions on what "could be" the issue but I want some definites by folks who actually fixed it).

No body has ever told you a 626im will fix that problem. To fix that problem you need to replace the bad solenoid because that's what is causing the code to be thrown

Oh maybe I'm dumb. I was (this whole time) under the assumption that the 626 would fix it. Maybe I misheard what someone said and I've never asked again about it to correct. I'm just getting sick of seeing the code being thrown.

Now, does anyone know where to get the upgrade solenoid or have a part number?

The 626 eliminates you vics and vtcs however you still need the solenoids plugged in and hidden some where so the ecu sees them and keeps the code off. My suggestion is to just get a known good solenoid and throw it on there. Check with prodigy he may have some

Try replacing vac lines and seafoam the engine. I did that on mine and I havent recieved the p2006 and p0660(I think thats it) in awhile.
