Cobb AP Discussion Thread

yes i'll host up the new maps. christian just sent them all to me so it may be a few days before i get them up.

I just took mine for a drive with the new map installed, and it really seems to be a nicer tune. Power seems more even throughout, and 4th gear really comes alive on this map vs my old Stage 2 93 v101d. I didn't see anything odd on my DH through the drive, after 15-20 miles my LTFTs were still close to zero, no knock, and no boost spikes.

question, I have the first generation MSCAI without the MAF straightner. Is it ok to be using the stage 2 + MSCAI map or is that one intended for the second generation MSCAI with the MAF straightner?

The MSCAI for the MS6 never had an air straightener.

I thought the second generation you could buy the air straightner for it and I think i read somewhere that the maps for the MSCAI were made up for the air straightener? I may be wrong so thats why i'm asking

Again, that was for the MS3, not the MS6. The 3's intake is split before the maf sensor, where ours is not. The air straightener goes in there. You could essentially cut your intake apart and install it, but I wouldn't bother.

Let me reload this software and see what happens. This is the 1st time ive had an issue with the ap.

it took me 2 times to get the ap to update the dongle. at first i though i did something wrong because it was taking the ap a long time to update the firmware. but i disconnected then connected it, and it was all set.

FFS Rev Limiter: 4600rpm
Launch Control Rev Limiter: 4100rpm
Normal Rev Limiter: 6700rpm
Speed Limiter Hysteresis: 4mph
Vehicle Speed Limiter: 10mph

These are settings i'm using for LC and FFS. You have to set the VSL low so you don't get limited by the launch control rev limiter in first gear.

Can you sync your AP with any computer with AP manager? My main laptop with my APM on it won't connect to the internetz, so I can't update the firmware or anything, so I need to use another laptop. I loaded APM on the other one, but it won't recognize my AP. It plugs in and fires up, but doesn't show the vehicle info or maps.
