bought a complete set of pads, rotors, and stainless lines for the back of my car... finally getting the incorrect (presumably ES/P5 rotors that came with the car off) gonna have to paint em before they go on to keep the rust at bay...
BTW, tri-point beat my local parts store's prices EASILY on the pads and rotors.

Freakin FedEx wants me to sign for my Hot Pipe when it gets delivered today. My sister, who would usually be home, is working at noon today - the only time she's working all week! I called them to explain the situation, but they said since its already on the truck, there's nothing they can do about it. So it looks like I have to drive up to Hagerstown, MD to pick it up tomorrow... FML
lol, fedex delivered my cd player yesterday. I didn't sign anything. Guy just left it by the door and rang the doorbell once.

tripoint has great prices... i'm amazed at how cheap some of their stuff is, and free shipping just saved me $25 on brake parts.

they beat my local parts store on a pair of rotors by $20.... and I'm talkin about the LOCAL one... not napa, not auto zone... etc... lol

s***, I have to buy oil/filer too so I can change my oil this weekend. Coming up on my 6,000 mark. Royal Purple is a b**** to find sometimes

oreilly's was carring it, and even had a sale, last time I was in there. $40 for 5 quarts and a filter.
edit: man, I do a GREAT job of making myself look like a HUGE cheapass on here, don't I!? My mom would be proud.

That's not bad actually. There's a place near me that carries it, and even does work on MSPs (guy there had a SS 03.5 with a unichip + others). They have funky hours though.
thats a great deal i pay about that to do my changes with penzoil platinum

for sure. usually what, 8 bucks a quart? Basically got the K&N filter for free. if they'd have had another filter for my car (I had em look for mine and the 626 filter and they only had one filter between the 2) i prb woulda picked up a 2nd change worth. I think thats just a couple bucks more than I usually pay for my mobile 1 changes.

Walmart = 5 qts of Mobil 1 for $22
i think its 2.8 or 2.9 qts but most ppl just fill it up til its full with the 3qts
