Getting my endlinks replaced tomorrow...left one was making a horrible clunking sound go over any change in the surface of the road.

Looking forward to a smoother ride tomorrow

Not sure what is next...in the morning we are going to check the timing and make sure it is right, but other then that anybody have any clue where to look next...

Well a bunch of stuff happened today. I got all my fittings and lines from atp. I also got my o2 bung from ebay. I had to remove the stock oil feed fitting and line since it was cut halfway and I almost stripped the bolt before I realized I could just cut the metal elbow with a dremel and then put a deep socket over it. Came off easily with a breaker bar. The new fitting and braided line look great. krayziefox also sent me the stock mani today so I'll be installing that along with the entire corksport power series when it comes in. I'm taking the oil pan and fitting to the welder tomorrow to get it welded. I'm also taking the o2 bung along with the j-pipe to get it welded in. I just don't want to put the wideband o2 on the corksport since it's so nice and since I'm gonna have no cats it won't matter that it's on the j-pipe. I also decided to completely strip and redo the gauge bezel I made and I made it a lot better. It only needs to be sanded a little bit finer and primered and sprayed. Pics are below.

Rear end links?

Mine are new, but I must have had them installed wrong, i was having all kinds of clunking noises too, so I pulled them and the sway (is that a sway bar?) bar off and the noise is gone...

Was planning to attempt to re-install on Friday and hopefully see what I had wrong.

so....found out my left rear caliper is leaking brake fluid....stopped in at autozone to see how much a 'new' would be.....and for s**** and giggles....had him look up msp parts:

rear caliper: $80 each
rear rotor: 30 each
Frontsame part numbers as the 6 and 626 actually) like 75 each and 25 for the rotors each

ForceFed charges an amazingly fair price for the quality work that he does with those gauge pods. I just didn't have the cash to pay for one of them so I decided to make my own. Order up a stock bezel from Ken or onlinemazdaparts and also get yourself some plastic tubing from home depot or something. Measure and cut. It was mostly trial and error and I looked at the pictures of the bezels on here for guidance. THe hardest part is getting the tubing strongly attached to the bezel. I used a soldering iron to sort of solder them together with spare pieces of plastic. The method isn't the best and I had it crack apart a couple times on me but if you put a lot on there and do it neatly, it stays. I bondo'd between the pipe and the bezel and voila. It's nowhere near FF quality but it is gonna looks great and function the same once it's painted and put on. It took me a long time to get it to where it is now. I'd say it's a weekend project. Take it from me and have a dremel handy to grind down and smooth out any parts you need to. Sandpaper takes ages when it comes to some spots.

I just use bondo and some PVC pipe. 1 Hour of sanding, three coats of primer and three of flat black. and bam. lol

That's a great idea. Learn from my mistakes. If I could do it again I'd prolly do it like 808 did. Looks great and is the easiest. This was my first time working with bondo too so I wasn't too familiar with it.

Its actually easy because you can shape the bondo anyway you want. When I cut the opening in the bezel, I made it a tight fit for the PVC. Then I used some super glue to fill it in. Then I used the bondo to make the sloping shape.
