biggest tire/rim on stock height:

hello,i have a 2007 mazda 3 hatchback,whats the safest, biggest tire/rim i can go without rubbing on stock height?

i'm running the speed 3 wheels, have yet to bottom out on them. Could probably go 7.5 inches wide possibly 8 even on and 18" wheel depending upon offset of course. What kind of wheel were you guys looking to run?

I'm hoping to run 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 rims and tires on my stock 2009 Mazda 3. The 2010s are a bit wider than the 2007-09s and I just don't want to worry about any rubbing.

I have an 09 with after market 18's and there still is massive gap...I wouldn't go any bigger than 19's though. You will probably have steering issues. But looking at the car, 20's seem like they would fit.
