What have you done to your P5 today?

nothings worse than trying to break free the allen bolt on the front brakes to replace the pad by holding the allen key and smacking it w/ a rubber mallet only to hit your finger and tear off a nice flap of skin....

how about this- i was trying to pop a dent out using my buddies "pops a dent"... i said wtf i 'll give it a try.. requires the use of their hot glue.. plugged the gun in.. waited a while.. saw some glue coming out. picked the gun up, started gluing the plastic thingy, and my finger.. I was like "omg ****,"...tried pulling off the glue, ...AND my burnt, dead skin...

pics or it didn't happen :D:D:D

I'll settle for the story at least...

Nothing impressive. I was about to service our really old push mower and the blades don't have a brake on them so when I grabbed the edge of the deck the blade caught my pointer finger and tore a nice gash in it right to the bone. that was a fun one. and I have plenty of other deep cuts from sharp plastic and metal pieces on the car and my dad's truck.

i was doing my audio install and almost cut the fat part of my thumb off....the skin and mucsle was just flappin

when i did my rear motor mount i almost cut the side of my pinky off

IIRC, it's orange. Lemme check the wiring diagram. I hunted this down for some reason awhile back........

OK, wrong, not orange. I found panel light control switch with output going to audio illumination with LG/B which should be light green/black & then output going to climate control with W/L which should be white/blue. Then of course, a seperate black for ground. LG/B also looks like it heads to instrument cluster on the schematic. Were you asking for illumination of the a/f gauge or a pwr wire to run the gauge?

... a power wire...so when i turn the car on it turns on..

got the narrow band to work... and got something in the mail to replace my fallen apart one..

soooo... u can work on some eyelids?

oh, and i took the rear seats out of mine.

haha for you and TwisFM, I promise to work on the eyelids tomorrow. I just got done with finals yesterday. On my to-do list for tomorrow is shipping out the Mazda t-shirt to racerxgirl, eyelids, finding the last of the fittings I need for the turbo install and ummm that's about it. Sunday I'm installing the AWR rear mount if I can get the bolts to budge (a nice 3 foot steel pipe on the end of the breaker bar should give me more than enough torque as well as plenty of the trusty PB blaster). I'm also going to remove the header and install the turbo manifold with the turbo and S-pipe and measure out the new downpipe that I'm having made which oughta be a blast. Pics to come for sure.....

Car is up on all 4s. Rotating tires (goddam these azenis go fast!) and going through the bi-monthly rear sway bar tightening ritual. Fun.

just did one of those last night for my friend..:) all i needed was some muscle and extensions.. and when i say muscle.. i mean... my muscle.. cuz his wasn't working.

yeah....i got pissed when i did my rear mount.....that's the one i busted my knuckles and almost lost the side of my pinky on......i quickly busted out the air compressor and impact wrench.....the other bolts came out quick and painless and went in even easier
