What have you done to your MSP today?

I've read a lot of posts from people who went with "syncromesh" type products and loved how the shifter got less notchy, but also lots of complaints about the LSD getting noisy. I'd much rather change the tranny fluid than the LSD...

+1 on the wastegate & Vac lines.... I changed out the wastegate and replaced vac lines and the difference was night & day. MUCH quicker to spool. Also check seals at hot & cold pipes...

I changed the wga about three months ago so i hope it isnt that. I may have a split in my cold pipe since it is still the stock plastic. I do need to replace vac lines because they are still the original ones and look like crap

Seems like alot of Msp'rs use redline. But I read in a tread that it was for racing and needed to be changed often. Then the penz/lucus mix,GM syncro, but I've heard pros and cons to all the above. But only good things bout RP

I need to find the research I found on a bunch of different gear oils and such including rp which failed miserably. I will look for the graph and everything later on and post it up.

the reason i think it may be a cracked mani is that the car drives fine when it is cold and has just been started up. As it warms up and after about 20 mins of driving is when this stuff occurs so i am thinking that the metal is expanding and exposing the crack causing a vac leak. Does this make sense to anyone other than me?

I have RP in my tranny and have no complaints its high (over 70 bucks in fluid it cost me) but it has held up well for almost 30k miles. The lsd did get louder but I think that was because I had it welded.

reminds me of when the gf took her hyundai into the dealer to get a part replaced under warranty and they told her that her collapsable anntenae needed to be oiled (she doesn't have one, she has one of those screw in stubby ones) lol

Stealerships are infamous for taking advantage of young women. One of my dude's gfs once overheard some service reps at her VW dealer talkin s*** about how they just ripped her off... She was like 19 at the time and went and told her dad or something. From what I heard, her dad tore them a new asshole.

I still don't get it., why people take their cars back to the Stealerships once they don't have any more warranty... most of the dealers sucks at everything they do...

mine behaved similarly with bad plugs...
