Off Topic

One thing I notice on this forum is some members just blatantly hijacking threads over and over. Maybe keeping things on topic is too hard for some? (confused)

Why wait to be moderated on this as opposed to keeping topics on track without the need for intervention of the Admins. (cabpatch)

God I wish the weather was nicer here today, it's crappy and raining. How's the weather for you?

I'm hungry, think I'll go get a sandwich.

So what is a gas strut for a hood anyway? There was a topic started on how someone couldn't believe Mazda used a prop rod on the CX-9 instead of a strut of some type. Don't believe I've seen one of these. I think there was mention of Ford/Mazda pickups in that same thread. What's your opinion of the B/Ranger series of trucks?

How DO you keep rocks out of the tread? I hate that 'tick tick tick' going down the street until they fall out.

Oh, nice weather here, vike. high 60's today and clear.

Hijacking thread is human nature.
Name one long threads of any forum that was not hijacked....

So, the topic of this thread is "Off Topic". How do we stay "on topic"?
Just kidding. Have a nice day, guys.

I believe it got started because someone thought Mazda was being so considerate/attentive to minute details and capped the end of the prop rod with plastic instead of giving us a strut type setup to hold that freakingly heavy hood.

Some old reported his old Jetta has it and personally, my previous cars have it too. One was a 2000 and the other a 2001. I'll leave the nameplate off.

a subforum with about 4 or so people who post daily doesn't cause much issue with hijacking but still it is the spirit of netiquette that gets tarnished but obviously the internet newbs no better or don't care(rlaugh)(rlaugh)
