Stop doing pulls in 2nd gear lol those were short. Use 4th :D

dam clutch ruined all my run :(

wish my car spooled up that dam quick haha.

I did dyno my car before in 3rd and 4th and there was maybe a 3hp difference.

We did a pull in 3rd let it cool down a lil bit then tried 4th pretty much the same numbers.

Ya you will, that's the point. But you get a longer pull in 4th and more time to collect data.
 
Sounds good fatti. That's where the power is, 2nd and 3rd gear for the msp.

Maybe not ideal for the dyno but oh well. Nice to see msp's/turbo protege's still being modded and not sold.
 
after the motor build i dont plan on selling anytime soon haha

but i have done all my pulls in 3rd, the car pulls pretty good in 4th too.
 
All chassis dino pulls should be made in what ever gear is closest to 1:1 ratio. which is normally fourth. My two cents.

next time i go to the dyno it will be the new clutch, turbolife FMIC and a better tune. Im just hoping the stock injectors will hold out.

I was at 250whp @ 4900 rpms then the clutch gave

what im not sure of is if the rated HP/TQ on clutches are rated at the crank or at the wheels, and if they are at the wheels then what kind of dyno do they use. Cause a dyno jet and mustang are alot different.
