Hello all,
Replacing pads and rotors on a 2002 P5.
I bought some rotors from the auto parts store and when I popped off the wheels to replace them, they were slightly different. The rotors on the car are the factory OEM rotors and have an extra lip around the hub. It also appears that I have to remove the axle/hub nut to get the rotor off (I took a few swings at the rotor with a rubber mallet and it did not budge).
I snapped a quick pic of the OEM set-up before throwing it all back together to go back to the auto parts store. They confirmed that the rotors I bought were correct and told me that it might just be that the factory rotors are different than the replacements.
Any insight/tips on this? I had heard before that there were 2 different rotors used on the P5, but the auto parts store claims that isn't the case.
Thanks for your help.
