2009 Spring Cleaning Meet - 4/25

this is looking to be an interesting day. i am lookuing forward to this. Hey is there any MP3's coming to the meet?

I didn't defeat the purpose. I figured with the amount of cars coming it would be better to lend a hand to those in need.

I think the steam clean is going to cost around 30-40 bucks. I specifically asked them to make sure it's not a pressure washer. They said it's a steam clean because if they used a pressure washer it would screw with electrical stuff.

They also degrease it, steam clean it, and air dry the engine bay with compressed air.

In CT? Let me know, I am looking into doing this as well. Thanks Chris

That last step is crucial. I got my miata detailed last week and they forgot to dry it out.

I made it 200 yards before the car died.

that's pretty much what I'm doing.

plus it gets me out of the house. Jess has to write a 30 page paper for her grad class this weekend. I'm going to want to be out of the house when that is happening.

i didnt think anyone used zaino here...i tried to setup a group buy a month ago...<iframe src="http://images.google.com/images?lookitup&svnum=10&hl=en&gbv=2&start=0&q=i%20didnt%20know%20u%20guys&xcrop=//a%5Bimg%5D&css=div%7Bdisplay:none%7Dimg%7Bborder:0%21important%7D&xremove=//a%5B1%5D&eval=ex=/start=%28%5B0-9%5D*%29/;hr=location.href;document.body.innerHTML+=%27%3Ca%20href=%27+hr.replace%28ex,%27start=%27+%28parseInt%28hr.match%28ex%29%5B1%5D,10%29+21%29%29+%27%3ENext%3C/a%3E%27" style="border: 1px solid black; width: 460px; height: 100%; top: 0px; right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; position: fixed; background-color: white; z-index: 1000; display: none;" id="ResultBox4"></iframe>

Exactly what I do. ;) If at the end I have time I'll wash my car down if it's dirty, but I don't think that will be the case since I already have gone through a 3 stage polishing process.

I was joookking gawsh!

I think...if I can fit it...I'm bringing my bike to wash too since the poor thing is dirrrtyyy.

Just ride the bike through a car wash. You can accomplish 2 things at once. A shower and get your bike cleaned.

Bahhh nooo too much pressure would shoot the grease out of the lower bracket and make the bike ride worse!

I'm going to clean my windows (thanks to a bird earlier today) and the wheels this afternoon and try to get my wash in first thing when I arrive at Mark's in the morning.

A few tantalizing pics of the basement fridge for your enjoyment.....

So im guessing its safe to assume this is open to all mazdas? My MS3 could use a little love. We doing interior too or exterior only?

I would love to come and learn some new things, meet some people and get my whip polished.... errr well you know what i mean.

Bring the Russet Potatoes, forget the beer.

For you Bruce I'll bring the potatoes....but if I don't bring the beer I might not make it home. (nervous)

All Mazdas are welcome and we'll have some non-Mazda too (I think). You can do interior and exterior. There'll be a lot going on....I'm re-painting/re-sealing my headlights, Mark's installing coil overs and who knows what else might happen.
