Well my Corksport testpipe was leaking with the stock cat back from the top, like all of you, sooo heres how I stopped it.

First jack your car up blah blah and unbolt your 2 bolts going to the stock cat back. Then get some of this stuff:

And apply it to the catback all over the flange.
Now put the bolts back together and apply another layer like this:

And your done, worked for me, IDK how long it would last, what do you guys think?

It was leaking at the flange? If so, you're better off getting a new gasket, applying Permatex copper gasket sealer, and torquing the bolts to spec.

I hate ghetto rigging something to make it fit when its suppose to fit the car in the first place. If I had to do that to keep it from leaking I would send that thing back and get a refund.

IMO, spend a few extra bucks and get the SU TP - it actually fits.

Nice crocs man :D

corksport customer service informed me to tighten the race pipe and the catback first. then tighten the race pipe to downpipe. leaks stopped for me when i did this.

Thank you sir, theres nothing more comfy than working on crocs :D

I will eventually plan on getting the CS Catback and downpipe, just need the $$$

+1. Hey, Kain, your slipping! Some real advice to the OP! You wouldn't want word to get around. We rely on your humor to keep things lively.

Yes, better to do it right than trying to patch it to fill in the gap between ill-fitting parts.

just want to note that you MAY want to get some of that stuff before jacking the car up.

Like you didn't do with your TMIC from SU that you complained about?

Good point. Also use gloves or some sort of hand protection while your putting this stuff on, its very nasty when it dries up you dont want it on your hand.
