thanks..it cost more than i thought it would. the shop advertises $75/wheel for 18x7-18x8's. but of course i had to choose a color that requires some special coat/layer (they said it's like powdercoating 8 wheels, not 4), so it was an extra 50%. bottom line, $450 OTD. i just inspected the wheels very carefully, and the job looks top notch..

i honestly have no idea how much the wheels weigh now...i was able to lift them with my scrawny arms, so they can't weigh that much

2 weeks (it's a busy time for shop, people are getting their cars ready for spring). they didn't do the centercaps, as they are plastic. i am going to try to find spray paint to match.

Spent some time at a friends garage tonight and did some upgrading to the MS3...

- Installed the TRZ rear motor mount (race version) so it will be ready for the next autoX this weekend. The vibrations aren't that bad at all and hard accelerations with shifting gears go a lot smoother.

- Rollled the rear fenders just a little bit with a fender roller borrowed from work. Had an issue with the top of the rear fenders rubbing just a little bit on the tread of the g-Force R1's (245/40R18) last weekend for their first time out. We'll see if this helps out.

I also removed my pesky SU front badge that was defective and chipping (protest) then installed my new Plasti-dipped front emblem!

PCSpeed3, my SU blacked out emblem is also chipping! Where/how did you get the Plasti-dipped one? How much?
