I've got a broken engine from a 2003 Mazda Protege 5 with around 99,xxx miles. I replaced the engine and sold the car. Now I need to get rid of the old engine. The block has a hole in one side so it is toast but the head (complete with cams, valves, springs, etc.), intake manifold, exhaust manifold, clutch, throttle body, sensors, etc. all appear to be working condition. Preference will go to anyone who wants everything as a unit but will consider parting out if there is enough interest to get rid of most everything.

Asking $200 picked up for all. If no one wants the whole package and parts need to be shipped I can disassemble the engine and ship the parts by UPS/FedEx. Shipping from Kanas City, MO, 64151.

I have several pictures of the engine, including the holed block, posted on PhotoBucket at:

I can take PayPal for ease of payment.

I haven't posted here too much. I'm usually on the MR2 boards. My wife is the one who is into Mazdas, so I get to work on them, too. :) She currently drives a Mazda 3.

You can check me out at Spyderchat.com and MR2OC.com and MR2.com. Also, on Ebay. I use the same user name on all of them.

Feel free to ask questions. You can PM or email rande at pobox.com. Thanks for looking.
Randy

I'll wait until the weekend. Then if no one wants the whole thing I'll consider parting it out.

Ok. I haven't had much interest in the engine as a whole so I'll be parting it out. I'll post some pics and prices once I get it taken apart.

do you still have the valve cover & oil dip stick, if you do how much are they
shipped to cali, 90631

Someone contacted me today about the whole engine so I'm going to wait a few days before parting it out.
