Ok, I know I've seen it but damned if I can find it now. Anyone know where a Bose Wiring Diagram of under the front seat of us mazdaspeed3 guys is located? Not sure of the colors. UGH, should have printed it out last time i found it.
Thanks in Advance guys,
Tom

The top denotes the half of the harness that has 8 wires, these wires are bigger than the others and are the speaker outputs. The bottom half has 9 wires and these are the inputs for the seperate channels. These are the harnesses going to the bose amplifier under the DRIVERS SEAT, these are not for the back of the headunit. As far as I could tell from my tests, the bose hu and the stock hu are exactly the same.

Without further avail:

TOP - In order from left to right *EDIT* These are the speaker outputs
grey w/ red stripe (FR-)
white w/ red stripe (FR+)
grey w/ black stripe (FL-)
white w/ black stripe (FL+)
solid grey (BR-)
solid white (BR+)
grey w/ white stripe (BL-)
white w/ purple stripe (BL+)

BOTTOM - In order from left to right *EDIT* These are the inputs to the amp
solid blue (remote turn on)
solid purple (FL+)
green w/ white paint (FL-)
solid red (FR+) *edit switched from FR-*
solid green (FR-) *edit switched from FR+*
brown w/ blue stripe (BL+)
yellow w/ blue stripe (BL-)
yellow w/ green stripe (BR+) *edit switched from BR-*
white w/ blue stripe (BR-) *edit switched from BR+*

*EDIT* Clarified the inputs and outputs to make it actually useable =)

*EDIT* This is the final and complete wiring diagram. No out of phases anymore. Thanks Redmist for picking up on the FR +/- switch, that was what I needed to figure out the pattern.

STICKY THIS IF ACCURATE

Definitely sticky this if its accurate all the way back to the bose head unit. I was farking around with the wiring behind the head unit using the wiring diagram off of this page http://www.cardomain.com/ride/495957/10 and it was complete rubbish for my 2008.5. The wire colors the guy put in his build on that page were probably right for his 2004 model, but those wire colors totally didn't gel with what I had, most were missing altogether. This seems right to me.

Anyone know what the wires on the other plug going into the bose amp are for? There are 4 wires, 2 thick Red and Black ones which are Power and Ground, but then there are also 2 more grey wires also, anyone know what there for?
Thanks in Advance,
Tom

can we get a few people to verify what info so far is correct and what is not? If so then I will sticky it

I'm sure I've read it before but I forgot and wired my amp to the blue wire.
Maybe we could add an asterisk or a note to warn others that the blue wire IS NOT a remote, but in reality an accessory power wire that is always on with the ignition.
Guess I'll have to go back and add a switch.

Did you use a voltmeter to verify blue isn't remote? Because I have mine tapped to the blue, and it goes off with the car. I didn't test the line myself, but seeing as how my amp is powering off, I'm assuming it's switched.

Yes Kain you're right it does go off with the car. A true remote wire, (usually for telling a power antennae to go up), goes on/off with audio power.
Hooking your new amp up to this blue wire means than it is on anytime your car is on, even when audio is off.
