NICE! I rarely ever see a true red speed3 thats a SPORT MODEL! Seems like everyone with true red has a GT

i dont know if you put that pinstripping on or if it came that way from the dealership. I actually like the stripe you have, EXCEPT that it curves up at the end, if it went all the way back I think it would look better, but thats just my oppinion

The pin striping was done by the dealership. Seems they did every Mazda 3 and Speed 3 on the lot and then slapped an extra $465 on the window sticker for it. I am debating on removing it, but have not decided yet.

I would of had them remove it before I left the lot.

ouch $465 for some $4 pinstriping from autozone or pep boys! Ah well, I like the stri goign from the hood down the side, just not the up-curve. Car looks good regardless. I have my side mopldings on too, people say remove them but I think it adds flavor to the door so it doesnt look so plain and smooth! A little something to break the eyesite and attract a little.

There are cars out there that dont come with side moldings, that desperately need them to add something to the bodylines and sides of the car or else they look like a canvas waiting to get door dings.

Yes, I agree. I did not pay for the stripes. The full sticker price with the destination charge, $465 "appearance package" (tape pin stripes), and protection package (wax job?) was $24,685. This is a 08.5 that was still on the lot on February 09, so they were really dealing. I got it for $20,300 OTD on 2/20/09.

I plan on keeping the side moldings on the car. Too many ding happy people around
