Sorry guys been ultra hectic here this past week. I got a new roommate moving in here at the house, my sister is moving to the northern part of the state and I was pretty much her only help, and my grandma is critically ill and isn't expected to live through tonight.
Even with all that, there has still been progress on the manifold front. All the little odds and ends are getting wrapped up this week. We will be 100% ready for assembly when the dyno numbers roll in next week or the one after that. All of our brass fittings have been ordered.
I feel really bad about how long this has been taking, and I apologize. So much of it is out of my hands and there is only so much I can do to try and speed things up, but I do still feel bad and I am sorry. It will not be 6 months like suggested above, as Kelly and Wes have both assured me that things will go quickly once final assembly has begun.
You guys have been awesome about the whole thing and I do greatly appreciate the patience you have all been giving us. Just a little longer and we'll all be on the home stretch. If there are any doubts or worries about this not getting finished, please remember that all of the major components for all 22 manifolds are done... and there is no way I am getting stuck with them. On top of that, I am way in the hole on this project even after the deposits... I simply can't afford to let this thing die out and/or not come through. I won't leave you guys hanging, I promise that.
Oh and one last thing... the EGR provision has tested out perfectly. I still don't even have a pending 0401 code yet, so I do believe we are totally in the clear on that one. The hose I used has discolored a little towards the exhaust manifold side, but it is holding up great structurally. I will be down at the machine shop again on saturday to snap some pics of the progress from this week and to help with whatever I can down there. I'll try to keep the updates flowing more regularly again as things in my life get back under control.
Thanks fellas.
