alright so i ordered 15mm wheel spacers from autoanything.com just as some did on here and they send me these ones. they are still the eibach spacers but they arent like the ones builthatch or madvillian got. mine came with only the studs and not the bolts that bolt on to the stock studs. i payed 260 shipped for these and am a little mad right now cause i feel ripped off.

ones i recieved:

and these are builthatch's:

WTF?

The ones you got are meant to be used with the studs originating from the car's hub (i.e., you're supposed to replace your existing studs with the longer ones that came in the kit and then sandwich the spacer between your wheel and wheel and hub...).

I'd send them back (though I never would have purchased them in the first place, but that's a discussion for a different thread...).

I, personally, would rather have the ones you got instead of the ones that bolt to the oem studs and then have separate studs. there is one less "joint" with these.

+1

You also won't have to worry about your wheels having enough clearance for the nuts holding the spacer onto the hub. As long as they are hubcentric I think you lucked out.

looks like with those you'll have to remove the caliper then take the rotor off and put those studs in from the backside.

I bougth my 25mm spacers off ebay and they were the studded kind that came with the nuts to bolt them to the stock lugs, I assume these are the kinds you had hoped would arrive:

If you flip the spacer over, do the holes have a "key" for those bolts to fit and lock into? Maybe you just have to put those bolts thru the hole holes (every other of course)

UHATEIT could you maybe get me the sellers name or the item brand that you got off ebay, also how are your spacer in terms of quality and function?

(sorry for double post :( )

uhateit: yeah i hoped to get the ones like yours cause that was the picture on the site so i assumed thats what i would get.

yeah i have to replace the old studs with the news ones and sandwich the spacer like you said which sucks i was expecting the easier route.

would you guys say send them back or give these a try? and if so how hard do you think these would be, i have never removed the caliper.

here is the link to my thread in the suspension section, it has the link to the ebay auction i got them from with price and the sellers information:

quality is perfect, rides fine. They are hubcentric with the lugs built in to the spacer itself and came with nuts to bolt them to your stock lugs. As far as brand name I dont know they didnt say, but if works perfect for me.
also if you search the auctions of that seller he also sells 15mm and 20mm spacers as well. I gave that link to 240ka and he is buying 20mm spacers for his speed3, he also bought the same dropzone springs I also have after I gave him the link for it a few months back

you may want to ship them, back if they will let you, but thats totally up to you. 240ka ordered those from eibach and got the SAME thing you got and he wasn't happy, so he sold them on the forum here a few days ago and went with the ones I mentioned from ebay using the link.

The ones I got on ebay were $150 shipped for the set of all 4, they sell 15mm, 20mm, and 25mm.

yeah i will have to try and contact them tomorrow hopefully they are open. this makes me so mad that they would have a picture up for the ones i want them they send me these.

they are eibach though so maybe the ones i got are quality idk. maybe someone will reply who does.

totally bummed, got a meet tomorrow at 3:00 and was hoping to have them on. maybe someone there will buy these so i can get the ebay ones.

I don't get it. These will do exactly the same thing as the other style spacers and to me actually seem like a better idea so long as they are hubcentric, which they appear to be.

yeah maybe ill give them a go then. what does hubcentric mean? if it looks like they are to you then they probably are, you know more about this kinda stuff then i do im sure.

what is all involved in removing the calipers to do these? maybe ill get some better brake pads that dont put off alot of dust on my goldies!

alright that was helpful. i wish it wouldve showed removing the caliper. oh well i guess ill just figure it out as i do it.

Caliper is held on by 2 bolts. Use a coat hanger to hang it off to the side, don't undo the brake line or you'll have to bleed the brakes.

next time go on project kics for spacers they have the best ones and do more research before you buy something

these are eibachs and from what ive researched you cant go wrong with eibach, and believe me ever since builthatch posted up for his i kept up with his post's. same with madvillan and uhateit, this was the first site suggested to me so i went with it cause it seemed legit.
