What have you done to your MS3 today?

The TMIC install is complete. I took it for a drive. The down low torque has definitely increased. The Dashhawk shows I'm building boost a bit quicker than before. The BAT is about the same at idle, but it cools off really quickly when cruising.

I popped the hood after a quick run and the intercooler was cold to the touch even after a 3 minute idle.

I don't want to really beat on the car until my ECU has relearned what's up.

Here's a before and after:

3.5 or 3.25? I love mine and i am sure you will get a kick out of yours!

Cool, i am thinking that soon i will want a tubular exhaust manifold, so the top mount will have to go. so much for stealthy approach. But mine has increased my performance a TON! combined with the other less restrictive bits i have bolted up.

I'm still waiting for my BC coil overs. Ordered 3 weeks ago. :(
I had a little thread going about set up on coilovers. What do you plan to set your car up to for alignment specs and such. I am getting my first set of actual coilers and i am painting their rooms blue. I still am having trouble finding a shop, besides oval track race car builders, to install and corner weight the thingies.Hopefully the UPS truck is on its way for you and me. Did you ever notice when you have a part on its way you can hear every ups truck in like five miles?

+1 I usually do that every week. Today I just stared at it's filthyness and died a little inside.

You should give it a bath after this next midweek rain and snow. I washed mine on that 60 degree day. Handwashed it real nice and got all the grime out of the wheels... god that feels good. Only after I was freezing cold. Lesson learned --- 60 degree weather + Handwash = fail... I'll probably give her the good ol' spring detailing (wash, polish, wax, full interior clean) when we have another warm day.

Frost Nixon, you and the wifey should tabulate the total you both spent on mods in the last year on a spreadsheet.

I am at 34000 how long do you have left?

I'm at 4600 lol.

No way man! I don't want to see how irresponsible we've been! We could have been investing that money or paying off our mortgage!

Is the 3.5 too big for our cars? Was thinking of getting an ETS

3.5 is fine if you have stiff motor mounts. Otherwise get the 3.25 or 3.

I have a 3.5 and with a full exhaust i did run into overboost condition which you will need to have a tune for. The 3.5 is overkill for most. But the 3.25 will do the job for sure. The stock unit really seemed undersized for flow if you are interested in increased performance. I bought mine as one of my first mods just for protection against extreme driving conditions. With just that and Corksport mm insert i ran a 13.74 in the quarter. But i also have heat soaked it in the staging lane and in stopped traffic once. I love the ETS but if you are going to build the snot out of the car just get a
front mount and do not worry about turbo lag. Its a tiny turbo anyways and will spool up faster than most. edit good point about rubbing on the the underside of hood. The thing did rub till mm was installed

s***, son. I was out there in t-shirt and shorts and sweating my ass off when I washed it. You're not from 'round these parts, are ya boy?

Yessiree, I'm from Aurora. Maybe it was the hose water that was so cold. Who knows... all I know is that I was shiverin after that wash... and it was like 4PM, not exactly the hottest time of day.
