Catless Downpipe w/ AP

I'm going to be running the v103 stage 2 sf + tmic map soon. I have a cp-e downpipe with no cat. and my question is what damage has been happening to people without cats.? Is it no problem or something i should be concerned about?

Yep just keep a close eye on your boost when WOT.

lets say you dont have the cat in the dp but further down the line you have a cat. is the case the same or should you be ok as long as you have a cat?

Im not an expert, but it seems like it would help a little bit but not completely eliminate boost creep danger. That cat right after the turbo gives some resistance for the turbo to push against, when it can just spin as freely as possible, thats when danger sets in. try calling Cobb, they would know for sure.

catless + cold temps can give you boost control (creep) issues. its just a physical/hardware limitation of the wastegate. I've been both catted and catless (currently catted), and I had some boost control issues in 5th gear when it was cold out when i was catless.

im not sure how often ill be ripping through 5th gear nor have i done it much in the past so if its 5th-6th that are the "real" problem then ill be set. lol. i have all the prevention tools i need to make sure i can read the cars operations so if it does happen i can try to avoid it as much as possible. meh....at this point ive realized this car is watch what happens....try to fix it....spend more money.....find another problem....try to fix it....buy another part.....fix it.....and so forth. lol.

The only scary thing about this situation is the what if's. What if you decide to rip it through 5th and all the sudden you over boost and grenade the motor? now your doing 110+ and all the sudden your tires are coated in oil?? Them damn "what if's"
