I think the side airbags were in the same option package as ABS.

yea i have an 02 with abs and i have side air bags, seemed like a cool idea at the time but i really want new seats but dont want to deal with the air bags

You will have an "SRS" logo on the side of your seat if you have them. Hope I never get to see them. Then I will have an excuse to get new seats.

I wouldn't try to mess with them unless you know what you are doing. Very explosive. Work off of a capacitor that does not need the battery to be connected. Also keep in mind you also have a similar seat belt tensioning device that will fire during an accident also though that is not in the seat, the yellow wires will be in the same area.

Looked at the car admiringly sitting in the garage on the way to the truck. Think I've actually only driven it twice in the month since gettin the truck. Funny how another new vehicle/forum sidelines the other like crazy. Not thinkin there's much left to find out about the P5 or new USEFUL mods to do on it that haven't been done. That's what's goin on with the taco prerunner bout now, lol. Gotta get it all lined out the way I want it. i finally got around to restoring my headlights. I used the 3M Headlight Restoration System. I picked it up at O'reillys from _Brad and Baddestfurball. Definately worth it. it was only $11 or $12, and uses any power drill. it comes with 500, 800, and 3000 grit sandpaper discs, a polishing disc, and of course the polish.

yea there is a way, but honestly i really don't approve of it since it is messing with something that could potentially save your life. plus, if you have ever been in an accident with an airbag going off, u know how much those things suck if they actually go off.

New Tires!

(cool)I just bought some new tires for my car. Federal SS-535. I'm excited to get some new tires on the front of my car as it's been driving poorly in wet weather. Washed my car over the weekend...and now it's raining. Mud. It's raining mud. Damn.
