All my miles are highway cruise control miles going to and from work. So it's still a brand new car. LOL, but it is up for sale.

22,000 in six months.(spin)
90mi commute round trip.
+frequent visits to twisty mountain roads in the first 3 months.

I simply couldn't stop driving it, I'm now trying to take it a little easier on her.

Ha! That was 3 weeks ago! I drove to Daytona for the Rolex 24 race on Jan 22nd, so now I'm something under 76,000.

I fully expect well over a quarter million miles before I'm done with it in a few years unless fuel prices go back up and force me to buy something slow & thrifty. Bought around Nov 6, 2006 -- I think it was the 2nd or 3rd MS3 in the Richmond VA market.

Wow i'm almost at 50,000 miles so howo she holding up? Ive had no issues at all and i'm heavily modded

It hurts me every time I see additional mileage on tap :P

7,500 miles on an 08.5, got it used w/ 3,600 in Nov of 08.

Wow... I second that question... What kinda problems, if any, have you guys run into along the road?

Other than replacing the slave cylinder 2 weeks ago (was leaking brake fluid, but I've never replaced one on any car before), I've only done the simple recall stuff, tires, brake pads, and plugs/wires once, so maintenance costs are low. It is bone stock, and I'll never mod the engine unless I get a CAI just to hear the turbo spool up and hiss.
Suspension mods, maybe later -- I have 3 kids in college & private school now soaking up all my cash. This car has more than enough power for road racing (at a track like VIR) but the suspension really needs to be buttoned down better for stability over 100MPH.

Yeah modding is great! I have methonal injection, test pipe, intake, 3.5 ets tmic, cp-e standback(tuned at 20+psi), forge bpv ,dashhawk and autommeter boost guage to keep evrything in check. My clutch is slipping bad and I still made 292whp on a dynojet. Yeah I did the brakes at around 30k, and had the acuator valve replaced vibrating under cold start I think thats a recall other than that not one issue. Car still runs like new at 50,000 miles and 20psi!..(usa)

wow...you should have a stickie that we can all watch to see how long your car lives...

Very encouraging to hear this. I just got mine a month ago and am already about to hit 2K. I expect to average about 25K a year. Like you, I wanted a solid platform I could drive 120K+. I put 204K on my last car with very few problems (2000 Honda Civic Si).

120K to me is still almost a new car

My last car = '98 Ford Contour SVT. Sold it at 275,000 miles to a guy who was still driving it a year later. The only breakdown was a water pump (i exploded the impeller from too much 7000RPM operation). An alternator around 220k, and I think a front wheel bearing -- that was about it other than routine stuff, which still was not much. Had to be about the lowest maintenance cost of any car I've ever heard of....except for the 8 sets of tires at around $675 each. I think 200k now is the new 100k miles anyway, so a properly maintained MS3 should do 250K easily for us highway drivers.

These higher miles are nice to see. They are a nice balance to the "I blew up my new car" threads.

Cobb says they have beat down their 07 with races, 1000+ dyno runs, daily driven hard etc and have only had to tighten a power steering line.

so to counter all the threads about the MS3 popping and scaring people away we should encourage others to come read this thread.
