Took about an hour, although most of that is jacking up the car, taking the wheels off, and all that garbage. I only have two jack stands, so I could only do one end of the car at a time.
I just purchased Duplicolor brand black caliper paint. Got it at autozone. First I cleaned off the calipers using dish soap and a brush (dish soap is made to cut through grease and grime, so it works well). After that dried, tapped off and sprayed. This stuff went on pretty thick so one coat was all that was needed.
I got the "drewspeed" decals from http://www.vinzdecals.com/
You can choose the text you want. Since my name is Drew, I decided to go a different route and get that.
It's a good cheap mod that you can do in an hour. Total I spent probably $30.
The store I purchased them from had them listed as max performance all season tires, but then some websites will say they are summer tires and others will say they are all season. Regardless, I love these wheels. On dry pavement, they grip as good if not better than the stock Potenzas. And they perform pretty well in the snow. We just got a lot of snow/ice here recently and they never gave me a problem. I'd highly recommend them.
i want those decals from vinzdecal but it wont let me check out. does anyone know what the mazdaspeed font is called? i guess ill have to get them made somewhere else.
