Do I Need a Tune?

Performance Mods Include:

Mazdaspeed Intake
Forge BPV
Corksport Downpipe
Corksport Racepipe
Mazdaspeed CatBack
PG Fuel Pump Internals

I have a Dashhawk, and a Boost Guage to monitor the motor and at WOT MY AFRS are in the 10s usually. I just want to make sure I don't grenade the motor and be as safe as possible.

i would not say its required to be safe. i would guarantee more power of course from the mods you have with a nice tune. WOT AFRs in the 10s are very rich.

Please tell me your DP has a cat....

I have intake and TBE and an AP tune was night and day for my car, no more boost cut. Highly suggest it.

DP has no Cat, but the RP has a high flow cat.

I would get a tune if I was you, apparently Catless exhaust is a very good candidate for boost creep/spike. I would suggest AP but if you are running parts that Cobb hasint made maps for specifically than is it stupid (I just learned today that my car "wont run right" if I have CPE Nano instead of Cobb SRI) to get AP unless you can get a protune or try out AccessTuner when it comes out. good luck man.

Thats BS, the ecu is designed to adjust fuel trims and compensate at all times. Just because the numbers on the data logger show different numbers between 2 intakes does not mean the car is running any differently. People mistake fuel trims for AFR, or something important. What intake doesnt matter.
And my answer is this car NEVER "needs" a tune. It has an amazing ecu. I have made more WHP with basic bolt ons and no tune than many with similar mods AND a tune.
