What have you done to your MSP today?

I assembled the bottom half of my tranny last night. Now that the RTV has cured I torque it tonight and put the 5th gear cover on. Hope to install the tranny tomorrow. Thanks for the help Prodigy, it'd be a lot harder with out you.

Make sure those lock nuts are nice and tight and don't come loose

Well, I decided to dress up the engine bay. Had a buddy polish the valve cover, heat shield, custom oil catch can and radiator overflow can. Installed Injen intake SRI w/ an awesome custom heat shield :) checkout the pics.

The engine looks so cool that when I get home every evening a pop the hood so every once-in-a-while I take a peak in the garage. Let me know what you think.

how did you make the heatshield?

Thanks for the info on the possibility of it being the Diff. I will call me mechanic today and see if he's checked it out!

sorry to intrude, but i was about to purchase an msp ecu and was wondering if the letter at the end matters ( mspxx-xxxx"a" or "b" or "c" or no letter) thanks for any info

^^^ They should all be similar. The later letters may already include the "flash" that was added between the '03 and '03.5 models to improve throttle response. However, this flash was available to everyone so in all likelihood they are the same.

i really wudnt know what MSP ECU cud do for the P5, ive only heard switching the MP3 ECU, unless he has a MSP that i dont know about.

I mean i own a 1.6L so my brains are as only big as my engine.(screwy)

LOL, red99pro, half your posts don't make any sense to me - I had to do it. BTW, these forums are only like HondaTech if you venture too far into the MS3 sections...
