Amazing little car. Top of its class by light years. All the negative comments reminds me of the jealous Protege owners when the 1st gen 3 came out.
I still like the looks of my P5 over every 3 but the mazdaspeed. I like the restyled 3 but that front end treatment is a tad too gaping smile. I'm sure the mazdaspeed version will look even better.
Styling is always a personal choice. I like the P5, I used to have one. But when I see a P5 now, I just see a 10 year old car. It's human nature to resist change, but the bottom line is that this car is a trendy new design and will sell like hot cakes whether the haters like it or not.
Looks ok in black.
The Bose sub got moved to the trunk, VERY similar to the Acura RSX-S setup:

There's a button in the middle of the trunk for the electronic trunk release, then this button is embedded in the taillight to lock the trunk:

Adjust your monitor, that's dark grey (should have taken a picture of the window sticker).
Just get the sedan's color on the hatch and we are on business (naughty)
Why do they still make cars in gold? Who buys that?
No saying it won't sell like hotcakes. And I have no resistance to change. I'd buy and MS3 right now if it made financial sense.
I'm saying that all things being equal, I like they styling of my 7yr old car better than this new one
Same way I like the styling of the old BMW M5 over the new one or the old Nissan Altima over the new one.
And I don't own any of those cars. I'm not saying my opinion is the law but I think it's silly when people suggest just because something is newer, it is also automatically better looking or more pleasing to every eye.
Good styling is good styling. Wide gaping front ends are wide gaping front ends. I'm not a hater, I'm just a person with an opinion.
