So I ordered a Corksport Short Ram Intake and Turbo Inlet..over a week ago now. I think I ordered it on the Friday before last. I asked Ken to send me an e-mail when it shipped. I got an e-mail in Sunday saying it had shipped out.

Waited all week, excited to recieve my new toy, but to no avail. So then I call and leave e-mails for ken you know just to make sure it wasnt lost in shipment or something because I never received a tracking number, and I get a phone call back saying Corksport is waiting on something before they ship but it should be a few days. This was on Sunday or Monday I think. So I am thinking okay that won't be so bad I may get it this week.

Well I call Corksport today, thinking well it must be getting drop shipped from them, so maybe they can tell me when it is going to ship out. I get the guy on the phone, and apparently they ran out of MAF housings and wont have any until the END OF THE MONTH!!!!

My card sure as hell got charged though!! Why would I be told it had been shipped if it hadn't? One of the reasons I went with Corksport over COBB was the fact that I was rather disappointed in COBBS ability to get an intake to market after they couldn't sort their quality control issues.

This is really disappointing as a whole,if somebody at least took the time to call me and say HEY, we are out but we will get you one as soon as we have them that would of appeased me. I mean I would of been disappointed but I would of gotten over it. Instead I have to chase people down to get an answer?

C'mon people its called customer service, and its how you keep customer loyalty...
 
Yeah, I've been there.. done that.. with PG you have to track them down, and I know it shouldn't be like that but unfortunately it is.. some people have had good experiences, some bad. I've always had to write a few times before I actually received any tracking info. You may be able to cancel your order and then get your money back, then buy it when it's in stock.

nah I mean I can afford it...not a that big of a deal I just wish they had told me or corksport had said hey we are supposed to drop ship this and cant...

Nice Titanium MSP...thats what I traded in for my Speed 3 :)

I feel ya ... its annoying when they pull crap like that. I have never ordered from PG but would be very irritated if they told me it was shipped and THEN and to wait a few weeks.
 
I hear ya. I ordered a Forge BPV this past weekend from PG, got an email this morning telling me "please allow two weeks for delivery due to US stock depletion. shipment is en route from UK warehouse". So I called SU and added the last Forge BPV they had to the order for my TMIC/tubes. I also left a message at PG's number yesterday, no call back. Still waiting for order cancellation confirmation from PG too.

My second order with PG + my second disappointing experience = probably not buying from them again.
 
In their defense, I have come to accept that PG is not Wal-Mart, or Amazon. They take a little longer than I would like, but they are very responsive here on the forums, and most members say they get their stuff eventually. Bear in mind that they really do have to wait on other suppliers. It's like old school sears catalog - wait, and it will come.

Speaking of which, where's my nano and side mount? lolz...
 
Its really hard when the manufacturer tells us it shipped out, then we find out from the customer that it never got there.
Then we call up the manufacturer and they tell us 'something is being held up' and now we look like the bad guys.
In this instance, corksport ran into a shortage on materials and 'forgot' to let us know what was going on.


We usually dont charge until the item is shipped(or we are told it was shipped)

I'm really sorry that was the case here.

I realized after I called Corksport and talked to the guy that it wasn't technically ProtegeGarages fault...I did call and sent an e-mail to Ken and he did respond to my phone call and left a message saying it would be a few extra days making it sound like it would be this week. I called Corksport and the guy I talk to says they wont have the machined MAF pieces until the end of the month?? I am just disappointed in the breakdown in communication...theres nothing liek coming home and goign today is the day!! Then NOTHING!! hahah I know I sound like a kid on Christmas, but at least if I am prepared and informed then I can be patient...I thought about canceling my order but I like you guys and have never had a problem before so I will keep it. Im sorry to vent on the forums but i feel that things like this should occiasonally be brought up as you have to admit it benefits both the forums and you guys....

PM me your order number. i have no problem cancelling this for you.

the delay on this intake was unforseen, something we did not know about until after we had placed our orders with corksport. if i had any inclination it was out of stock at the time, under no circumstance would i have charged the card in question. that being said, i tried to email every affected customer through the system on our website which tracks orders in this manner. my last update from corksport is that we should have stock on this by the end of the month, if not sooner.

i am happy to refund or credit any customer on an order like this, or if there is an available substitution i will do that too.
 
i also ordered the forge this past weekend hoping to recieve it this week... got the email 4 days later stating itd be two weeks. probably would have ordered a different valve if i had known or bought a used one. but oh well i appreciate how involved ken is in the forums. im willing to give them another shot and see what happens. perhaps u should do the same after all running a business especially over the internet is not the easiest thing in the world
 
I already e-mailed Ken and let him know I will be staying with them. I am definitely a brand loyal and vendor loyal person. Plus the free shipping on everything is kinda nice yah?

Anyway I was just voicing frustration, I have not canceled my order and Ken e-mailed me personally and apologised.
 
pg garage is always great when i use them, s*** happens dude just relax...will you die if u dont get the "toy" for ur car?
