juat say no to teh IS-F you can find faster cars below that price range. G8 GT is right under 30 grand, and comes with an LS3 and 400+ horses. but then again its your choice, right?

I hate to say but I put 1/2 car on my bosses 08 from 60-120. From a dig it would have been a different story!

yea guys, i plan on keeping the price around $30k if I can. The G8 was a nice drive, but wasnt for me. It felt too family oriented in its own way....its gonna be MY car, thats what the Commander i bought the wife and kid is for 
Still eyeing the C6 Corvette, but anything goes at this point....not in a rush to blow away my money on modding again. Thats why I purchased a Canon Rebel camera to keep me busy in the mean time

What the hell (boom07)??? Just IMO, but there is nothing luxurious about a corvette. The interior is crappy for the price they want for it, but it wasn't really made to look all that nice; was made to go almost ungodly fast.
Hey Chuck, how's about a CTS-V?? Maybe even a GTR, or the new Z370?? I heard they are bad ass. Shorter, lighter, and a bit more bulky on the engine side. (naughty)

people have too high of expectations of a corvette. they always expect them to be the fastest thing on the road and i can think of a ton of cars that are faster.
Corvettes are dollar per dollar the best value IMO. Having torn them apart extensively and seen what even the mildly modded street ones can do... they are the s***. While a Mazda 6 may have a better interior, everything else about a C5/6 Vette is better.

i don't know what AT LEAST means, but you should consider rotary. if you are v-tak-ing it, you need some serious redeeming points. a boosted FC or FD would gain back the cool points.

I just want a clean, reliable, 4-banger for a cheap price to use for work and daily use. Ive actually been looking through some used MSP's and may even go that route, just dont wanna spend more than $6k
