I was actually trying to be cautious by breaking early. Needless to say the ice had other ideas. I have at least $3k worth of damage that I can see and possibly more. The airbags didn't deploy thankfully, but running up under an Xterra didn't agree with my car. I'll post some pics of the damage soon, and continue to kick myself in the ass until I eventually forget this ever happened. It doesn't matter how safe you drive, or if you have AWD ice is a real b****.
Oh s***! It's snowing like a MOFO here in Southern Louisiana this morning. It hasn't snowed here in like 15 years or something.
My MS3 has the summer tires on and I'm afraid for my life as far as driving to work is concerned. I think I'm gonna see if they'll let me telecommute today.

Everyone I know from back home called or texted or emailed me about the snow down in in South La. My dad was hilarious, and I qoute, "These assholes have no idea how to drive in this, but they're all out on the rode. What a bunch of retards. At least they're shutting down all the bridges and highway, you should see these dummies." Last time it snowed in downtown New Orleans was 4 years ago.

Sorry bro once the car is fixed I'm keeping her as is for now. Maybe later next year I'll make some changes, but if thats the case I may just use the stock rims as my winter rims with a set of winter tires.

I talked to the repair shop yesterday, it'll be at least another week before I get my ride back. They are having issues with the brakes, and apparently they may have been partly to blame for the accident. So now I don't feel like suck a D-bag, but until I get a definitive answer from them I'm still a D-bag.

Tomorrow makes 5 weeks since I dropped the MS6 off at the Body Shop. I have yet to get my car back. The insurance company wanted all Mazda OEM parts which due to a few items on national back orders turn the original estimate of a 9 day repair into a 5 week repair. So a work to the wise, do F%^k up your car or it may take a while to get it back.

So tomorrow makes 8 weeks since I put my car in the shop. National back orders on parts did me in for the most part. I was supposed to pick my car up this afternoon, but there was a problem with the DSC. The repair shop took it in to Wilkins to get them to fix it. They have to reprogram the the ABS controller they replaced. Apparently the old module was to dammaged to pull the program off, and they don't have a standard program for the MS6 they can load. So they have to manually reprogram the ABS controller, and as they don't work on Saturday it'll be Monday night or Tuesday sometime before its done. I'm just about done with Mazda, which pisses me off. Both of my cars are Mazda's, and i planned on my next car being a Mazda. After this it's highly doubtful. I'll apologize now, ****!!!
