What CAI does not require the bumper to be removed?

Cant decide between a SRI and a CAI, but I always thought CAI all required the nose to be removed. Is this true, or are there some that do not?

When I installed my AEM I got it in by undoing the inner fender and reaching inside. It's good that I have thin arms and long fingers.

That's the method that is in AEM's instructions. You can download them from their web site. It's definately more work than an SRI.

I have done both, removed the front bumper and just removed the driver side wheel and got through the wheel well. The wheel well is easier but a little tight. Removing the bumper really isnt that hard. I just replaced the filter on my Injen today. All I did was take the driver side wheel off and then 4 screw plastic rivets and one 7mm bolt. Not a big deal and was done in minutes...

I installed the AEM CAI without removing the bumper, it would be easier with the bumper off, but not necessary.
My AEM CARB approved intake is for sale, in the for sale section.

I ended up taking my bumper off for my CAI install, it made it really easy to put on and wasnt as bad as I thought it would be to remove. I thought I'd share a pic incase anyone was curious as to what it looks like with the bumper removed. When it comes time to clean the filter though, I'll definitely just go through the wheel well.
