(direct) I want Rota G-Force, nowww.

I'd rather have an 18" over a 17" so 18x8.5 +48. Any hope of using stock rubbers until they wear out? What tire size would I need to be running to not look like a vdub and not worry about rubbing. I'm not against rolling my fenders, if it has to come to that.

Thanks d00ds.

That'll look pretty strange with the stock tires. A wheel 1 1/2" wider? Maybe a 235 or 245/40 for tires?

Paylew, they will fit on, but will look pretty well stretched. You would be better off staying in the 7-8" range if you plan on using the stock rubbers. Just remember there are pros and cons to every decision. Smaller width wheels/tires are cheaper, but you sacrifice some traction over a larger width wheel/tire.

do they even have 8.5's? i talked to wheeldude and they only have 9, the last i checked. they never have all of these wheels on their website but they are NEVER available, it's frustrating.

Don't. The stock Potenzas are rated for a MAX wheel width of 8". Anyone who stretches tires beyond factory specs is asking for trouble. I have the stock tires on my 18"x8" RX-8s and I'm definitely getting a 225+ tire when these burn off.

Yeah, I didn't really want to stretch tires but I also don't want to waste perfectly good tires. I guess I can always just use 'em for a winter type wheel. lol, and yeah I was looking on wheeldude but I have a buddy who owns a shop who also may be able to get some for me if they aren't in stock at WD.

*I'm still kinda stuck between P-1's and G-Force so who knows.

black or bronze, I'm going to assume you've sold them already?

I did and they are for sale again. They were black with a red pinstripe on the lip. Wheeldude doesn't show an 18" Gforce that will even remotely work on our cars. Here are a few shots of the P1's so you can see what they look like on white.
