Re-Re-Flash?????

So I had my cpu flashed at the dealer because they said it was a mandatory recall and they had no choice but to re-flash the cpu. Shortly after the cpu was flashed I experienced a lot of the problems that have been stated on this forum. I called Mazda customer support and Blasted them. I remember the conversation went something like, "This is not the car I purchased", And " I did'nt spent $27,000.00 on a performance car that didn't perform" Also included in my bashing was "This is not a problem that will go away and It needs to be fixed now rather than later" I also suggested that due to the fact that this re-flash effected the performance of the car I would be open to Mazda offering me Performance upgrades (Exhaust/intake) to compensate for the lack of performance i had been experiencing. I'm waiting for approval by the District manager But customer service said that they were going to re-re-flash my cpu back to the previous version before the problems were evident. any one have any info On a re-re-flash? Has anyone had this done? Are there any things I should be aware of before I let these Jackasses touch my car again? I could use the help, so If anyone has anything to contribute please let me know!!
Thanx

Been there and I feel your pain ... or atleast loss of performance. I didn't think you could get it flashed back but good luck to you.

It sucks that you have to mod the car to get it to where it was before stock or a bit better.

After numerous calls to Mazda I convinced them to re-re-flash my cpu back to the earlier version before I experienced the power loss. I'm happy to report that the re-re-flash was done today and I fell in love with my car all over again!!!! The difference is tremendous!! Its like night and day!! Just call Mazda customer service (1800-222-5500) and blast them over the reflash. I made it a point to say that my car was back firing and that this is a performance car that is not performing. I told customer support that this was not the car that I had originally bought and that something needed to be done and I would not drop the issue until the problem was fixed. Good luck to all!! Its defiantly possible to have it flashed back and in my opinion it needs to be done! CALL MAZDA!!!!

now i was wondering , my speed 6 seems to have had a loss of power thru every gear and RPM ??? Could this be because if this re-flash problem, i spent $33,599 on my speed6 and it was so bad ass now the car is nothing like it was when i bought it

since purchase.. every dealership visit always included me stating not to flash the car at any circumstance...
my ecu has been a virgin since day one... for those that have the update flashes... one word.. cobb
speed6r.. how definite are you in the flash.. seat of the pants or did they provide you with ecu records...
was always been told you couldnt flash it back to original... wonder if they just swapped in a new ecu..

I spoke to a local dealer and they wouldn't flash it back but I think if I pushed it they would ... if they ever give me crap about my mods, atleast I've got a response for them: "Well that's what I've had to do to get the power back that you stole from me with that damn flash!"

That'll shut 'em right up I bet. :D

Hi!
Can you find out the file name of the flash of the IDS computer from your dealer? That's what my mechanic asked me. He said let me know the file name or version and I 'll doit for you. Can you please find out? He also told me that the computer has 20-30 different "flash" files for the speed6.
Thank you! Gio.
