RIP MS6. NEW MS3!
can anybody out there give me a few ideas on how to drop some weight on my speed6 without sacrificing performance or my interior tooo horribly??

well you will not be sacrificing performance, but comfort. You can remove the spare, sound deadening material, all non essential items like all the plastic trims in the engine, sub, replacing your stereo system with simple speakers up front only, replacing power seat with a non powered seats, trunk lining, then body panels with carbon fiber ones. I believe Cork Sport has a carbon fiber roof skin. You be deleting the sunroof also with that one. Get some 18" TE-37s, they will be lighter than the OEM rims. Don't fill your tank past 1/2 tank. Actually replace your cast exhaust manifold with a tubular one. Anything after that you be digging in to the interior panels and seats.

BTW:

This is the "How to", not the "How do I" section.

F.Y.I This section is for posting 'How To' do something and not asking how to do something. I'm just giving you the heads up before a mod tells you and moves your thread.

arite nice, thanks both of you. i think im gonna rip out the trunk for now, than just take teh spare out and fill halfway when i race. taking out al teh sound dampening and speakers is farther than i want to go. but anyways drive safe everyone

a light weight battery and carbon fiber hood would shave some weight from the front and help weight distribution. but obviously thats a costly route.

its funny ya know, i posted an actually how-to on here that was removed for reasons unknown. yet someone asks a question in the how to and it sits here for weeks. way to go mods, good work!

Doesn't the roof skin only cover your existing roof.... your not actually replacing your actual roof, so therefore... no weight loss?
