i have an AEM CAI so far and for my bday i get a new part. but i dont know what i should get. But i want to stay within warranty or be able to take the mod off relatively fast for dealer visits and i also live in california so i have those laws to deal with.

i appreciate your opinion. i have see n what others say DP/RP, but that doesnt work with dealer and smog issues out here, so thanks for your help!

If you don't have it already, upgraded rear motor mount. There's tons of options and not having the absurd amount of wheel hop from the joke of a stock mount makes the vibration at idle totally worthwhile (to me at least).

motor mount, shifter bushings, short shifter. on a budget and in terms of ease of install and warranty any of these are good buys and make the car more fun to drive. with a little more cash, something like a top mount intercooler provides a good gain and is easily removable for dealer and inspection trips.

the mazdaspeed catback is a dealer safe upgrade however i dont think for the money it provides the best gain.

i was thinking about the ETS TMIC 3.25" w/ boost tubes, TRZ poly RMM,RPMC turbo inlet, HKS SSQV from PG, or a dashhawk

all of those are pretty decent choices, keep an eye out for the TRZ intercooler we are working on right now.

How much is the TRZ intercooler going to be? I saw the thread on it and it looks good but arent any numbers yet! Im hopin to get something by next week since my bday is on the 24th

whats your price range? that is really the deciding factor.

I would say first go with a rear motor mount. after that I would recommend a test pipe -- imo great bang for the buck mod & easy to swap back to stock if need be...

driving school...

In all honesty it will show you the full potentional of the car and how you can make that potentional a reality.

best bang for your buck

Wow that is one of the best recommends ever. Seriously. I will be going to Watkins Glen in New Yawk again next year for more education. The two day course will allow me to use my car to its potential { full on}as mentioned and become a better daily driver. Just understanding vehicle dynamics is worth every dollar.

It looks from your smiley thing you have met me. haha thanks K

no problem sir

it will be in the $700 range, depends on the final parts list we use on the production piece

I live in Cali and I have a turboback with no cats, a FMIC, limo tint all around.. Just dont drive like an ass on the streets and you wont get attention.

TRZ motor mount, TWM Bushings, Coilovers with camber links.

That would be my birthday list if my birthday was coming up. Now if only I had someone to buy me all that stuf...

Someone who had a bit of cash and loved you something fierce speedsports haha. Coilovers would be awesome. but a mm is a required performance upgrade and will not void anything

Well I ended up going with a Rear MM+shifter bushings from SU, and the HKS SSQV kit from PG. Thanks for all of your inputs, I appreciated it.

Till next time.
