thats a wide ass wheel though, i think theres going to be major fender rolling going on when u drop it

i was going to order those 17x8 but they didnt have them in stock

only like 14lbs if i recall correctly

nope someone else has these exact rims dropped on cobbs =) no rolling no rubbing no nothing for him also, so thats the only reason i got them

im kind of suprised.. havent seen the mazdaspeed rays double 5 spoke rims yet. unless i missed it. anyone got them on their car? im thinking abuot getting them. might powder coat them gold and put em' on my red ms3. i think that would look really really nice. if anyones got these rim on their car post please. would like to see.

your going to spend 2 grand on some rims and have them powdercoated?

sounds a little crazy, they could get scratched during mounting the tires, even with touchless mounting, the guy that mounted my tires made sure i knew there was a risk of the machine scratching the rims before he started

but if u have money like that go ahead

yup my fiance might get me cobb springs or cp-e motor mounts for my bday but she wants the motor mounts she said exactly this. "you're car has to much horsepower and tourqe, so as a safty i will get you better motor mounts for your birthday" i was like WTF!!?!?!? she really cares! =D lol

I could tell a difference in performance with the RX-8s. Grip was much improved, especially in straight line accelleration. Handling is not a 'sharp' as before, a little more effort to turn-in, but not bad.

rx-8 wheels imo.. are UGLY they should stay on the RX8! seen some rx8 powder coated gold on a cbm speed3 and looked like s*** seen them on a red speed3 and i cant stand that look
