bada ba ba ba I'm loving it

And I said "Yes mother" so what's your point?
My point is that you are being an asshole without any justification. He was not being an annoying whiny mother... he was making a good point that most likely needed to be received. That's not the type of post you should respond to with 'yes mother'

Yes mother.

Yeah, us grown-ups just don't know how to have fun, huh?

When there are other people in the car, you turn it down a notch. It really doesn't take a lot of brains to figure that out.
Why do people have to be in the car for you to tone it down a notch? There are other people on the road, property to damage, other driver's insurance rates to drive up... you know, all those really good reasons why people should keep their antics on the track?

I agree but this is a losing battle here.

come on guys this is ridiculous, this thread went to crap in two seconds. I was just on a high from my drive, and wanted to hear some other stories of people enjoying there ride. As far as safety, goes I should have specified that my friends wanted me to dog the crap out it. They are speed junkies like me. However when I was drifting it was a on road that no one was on and no one was going to be on. I respect peoples safety and if anyone of the two guys felt uncomfortable, I would have slowed down, and understood. No biggie, so yes safety is always good to practice, we don't want anyone ending up dead, but in the end you are responsible for your own life, and with people in the car, yes of course being the driver you are responsible, and that is huge. So lets just drop it. And just discuss how much fun this car is.

threads here go to crap really fast now. i don't know what everyone's deal is now. it used to be really laid back on msprotege. now that there is a name change, all of the people have to change??

My post is directed towards the people saying their MS3 was slow due to having passengers, what kind of fat ass passengers did you have? Maybe a couple elephants and a rhino?

I showed off my car to a couple friends , all in the 200lbs range, accelerating didn't make a difference and it handled fantastic going fast during some sharp turns...Even braking was as good.

Maybe my mods helped, but the car is definitely not slow with the AC on and a couple passengers.

Well then you definatly don't have alot of expereince with your car and how it feels.

I can notice a little difference from just one person...I notice a huge difference with 2 people. 3-4 people and the car isnt even fast any more in my mind lol.

Just think about it. the car weighs 3200. add yourself and 2 other people averaging 200...you just bumped up the weight to 3800.

3800 pounds is a fat pig.

Like I said...if you don't notice a difference in the handling and acceleration with 2-3 passangers in the car, then you obviously havn't been driving the car long enough to get a real feel for it. Which makes it scarier to think of you "drifting" the car.

Sounds fun koston, I haven't did anything fun like that yet, I went 130 on a back road in alabama at midnight, that was a big rush because I didn't know if a deer would jump out or not. And things seemed so fast with the visibility being crappy

that's awesome haven't taken it that fast, got it up to 120 when I was having fun with a porsche cayman on the highway, that guy was hella surprised. I was following him then he switched lanes to let me pull in front and then he followed me, we ended up getting off at the same exit turning different ways. But I glanced over and he gave me a thumbs up and a friendly wave. It was awesome.

Aren't you the litty puts who ****** up with painting your wheels? Bahahahaha, shush noob, you know nothing. (cabpatch) And by the way, this goes to show how stupid you are at reading comprehension. I never mentioned anything about "drifting", AF Cadet? You in the Air force? What a damn shame.

Welp, I've had enough time in the drivers seat of my MS3; and I can say that with more than one passenger, my car definitely feels a lot slower... add 3 people in the back to that, and it really slows down.... =\ As for turning, it does tend to get a bit funner (I like that word, i know, its not a "real" word, to me it is, yey yey!) My passengers love the thrill of being able to swing my car in turns, they laugh their heads off. In any case, I've suprised a lot of people with the MS3. A few are V8 brick heads buddies of mine have no idea that I'm driving a Speed3... first thing I tell them when they say, cute car. I'm like thanks it gets me from point A to B to C and back to A! They get in, and love the interior...as soon as I give it some go go juice...they're pinned to the seats, and a couple of corners later, they're pretty impressed... I even let one of them drive it. I told him, don't be scared to give it some gas..lol The whole time they had this big grin on their face... the whole time saying... "Hell yeah..whoa s***, I can't believe this car! I'm impressed." Good times man, good times...

I believe that most of us could drive with greater margins of safety (less aggressive, etc.) than we normally do.

Also, when there are passengers in the car, the added weight will affect the handling, braking, and acceleration (i.e. the car will respond differently to control inputs).

whats the post about again, I started it, but forgot, oh right ZooMIN3 thanks for the post. Ya I let my uncle drive my car down a curvy GA road, and he was blown away, he was just cursing up a storm and smiling the whole time, he said that for what the car weighed it was one of the fastest things he's driven.

I let my dad drive it down the road and he said he didn't like the torque steer. And said he liked my bro's STI more... F N A
