Been watching Shrek lately?
ya, or go to another st! i was on the way home and thought..go ahead and turn it on before i get to my rd...Nice Mark! Next time you take a vid you have to make sure he isn't home. haha
let me guess....you smell gas ?
No, not really. I've been carefully looking over everything since I installed my new fuel rail and started getting idle issues and CELs. Today I was feeling around the fuel rail and after I had been feeling around the fuel line/fuel rail connection I had a small line of fuel on my finger (from where I had gripped it). I did the same thing again and there was a lot less fuel. It's not a very big leak at all but it's there nonetheless. I just don't know if that is what's causing the odd idle sometimes. I primed the fuel rail and checked again and sure enough, after a few minutes, little line of fuel on my hand. It isn't spraying anywhere but it's there. When I primed the rail, fuel pressure was an even 40 psi. Does that seem right with the car not on and just the fuel pump running?let me guess....you smell gas ?
elderberries (sp?)nope, surprisingly it smells of vanilla...

40 is right if i remember correctly...i have a mam fuel rail ( actually 2, the first one had the threaded hole for the mounting bracket drilled right into the void of the rail(boom06)) anyway, my second rail leaks every 10k miles...i came to understand that it wasn't threaded properly it should have had a thread that tightened as you screwed in the fitting, but no, it just threads forever so it never really tightens down and after some engine vibration it starts to back off the gasket and leak! what a pain! No, not really. BTW, it sucks looking for small fuel leaks because everything evaporates so damned quickly!
