What have you done to your MSP today?

Awesome cant wait.

Hahaha, i know 3 guys with a Escort RS Cosworth with 320 HP, another one with a Ford Focus ST Turbo with 250 HP, and the other one with a Mazda 6 MPS (Mazdaspeed 6) with just Exhaust, they think they are the freaking s***... they just don't know the new boss is already here !!!!

And here to: (drive2)

THAT is a crying shame. lol stupid traction issues. Maybe you should just DD on drag slicks. lol

Well i can always run them in lower gear ratios on low boost and high boost after 3rth gear. i have my boost controller set to progressive boost increase, i have in 1st gear 10 PSI, 2nd gear 13 psi, 3rd gear 18 psi, 4th gear 22 psi, and 5th full boost 25 psi as mentioned above in a progressive manner. i have recently done it that way because it was ridiculous to hit 25 psi on all gears, i was spinning tires even on 4th gear.

I have some traction issues im not going to lie, but there are ways to get around it, like racing on higher gear ratios, or low boost on lower gears..

I'm so excited I have to post this in two threads!

Well I came home today to about 4 different packages sitting at my front door! Too bad I had some serious work to do before I could dig in... Well I just recently opened everything and here it is - and it's not even all I ordered! I'm all excited so I have to run through everything I have planned in the near future!

What you're looking at: used RacingBeat rear swaybar, Turbolife FMIC kit, AN Wrench kit (I'm going to do this right, dammit!), 3 ft 10 AN line, 3 ft 4 AN line, two 45 deg 10 hose ends, straight 4 AN hose end, sandwich plate, 1/8 NPT to 4 AN adaptor, SS 1/8 NPT tee, brass 1/8 NPT male to 1/8 BSPT female adaptor, brass 1/8 BSPT male to 1/8 NPT male adaptor and a bunch of SS 1/8 NPT plugs.

Not pictured: Brand new stock P5 rear endlinks, MAM exhaust manifold, Perrin Fuel Rail, Walboro 255 lb Fuel Pump, WRX 440 cc injectors (probably going to sell - need some 565s)

What I'm still missing (not delivered): 10 AN turbo drain fitting and gasket, 4 AN turbo inlet fitting with restrictor, 90 deg 4 AN hose end, AEM Oil Temperature Gauge, AEM Oil Pressure Gauge.

What I've yet to order: AWR Oil Pan with 10 AN return fitting, AEM/Injen MSP intake, BOV (haven't decided what type yet).

What I'm waiting for: 505Zoom intake manifold

There was a local guy interested in them but I haven't heard from him in a while. I'll PM him to see if he's still interested and if not I'll definitely let you know.

Unfortunately the amount of what goes in depends on the current state of my motor. It hasn't been burning too much oil but I'm afraid once it gets cold again it will start again. I'm going to run leakdown and compression tests on the engine to determine it's health and I'll go from there. If it's in a sorry state, well then it's engine build time as well. I also have to do a lot of work to the FMIC kit before it's going in a well and the release of 505Zoom's intake manifold might still yet change that!

I punched mine in the dash last night because a new rattle popped up. Rattle seems to be gone for now.

Did you manage to find one of the coveted MSP manifolds?!

Can't wait to see everything installed. Yee! :D

Yup, I have Pirana's old manifold. The thing is, I'm actually considering selling in anticipation of the exhaust manifold terbow is working on - I'm just waiting to see some designs first. Two reasons because of this: the head flange is slightly warped so I have to get that fixed and the MAMs have a slight history of cracking (Pirana said this one has cracked in the past but was fixed). Supposedly the one terbow is leading up will be braced to the engine. Blasphemy, I know...

Trust me, I can't wait to have everything installed - I'm finally getting into the Protege big leagues!
