Use a spark plug non fouler. If it still throws a code, add another non fouler.

The non-fouler eventually failed ... the above has worked perfect for me.

You're just paranoid, that's all, any downpipe + midpipe that is catless, will yield a CEL, some give you a CEL after several miles, then it goes away, but that's the price you pay for going CATLESS (stooges)

Not true, I've been catless since 1999 and have not had a CEL from any catless aftermarket exhaust. There's nothing wrong with fooling the ECU on this mod as the only function of the downstream O2 is to test for a functioning cat.

If you get a CEL yes you can clear it with the dashhawk. Also, a non-fouler SHOULD keep you from throwing a code in the first place.

I don`t know about dash hawk but any simple OBD2 reader clears any code under the sun for any car manufacturer in the world basically.My one was a 45usd code reader from autozone or something.I also have a obd2 iso interface that can be usedfor notebooks USB2 to serial port with a obd2 scanmaster software,however it only reads BMW,Suzuki and a few other manufacturers that are ISO protocol compliant.
