Yeah, they are suprisingly common here in SoCal... you find them coming up quickly... although i duck every time I see em, cuz I fear a drive-by...(gun)
 
filled her up, got combined mileage of 27 mpg, not bad!(drinks) i bet on a nice highway drive i could get close to 30...?
 
Took the Kiddos to daycare, filled up the tank for $0.80 less per gallon than what it cost me in Los Angeles, parked it in the driveway of my new house in Texas and stared at my garage full of boxes ... Time to get busy (like I ever stopped).

Nice I bet you love the lower gas prices. lol I bet cost of living to is a ton less! Just curious what do you do for a living?

Glad to hear you arrived safely! If you should have any spare car parts in those boxes, just ship them to me. Fewer boxes for you to unpack. heehee

lol - I'll be setting up another fs thread in the next week or two. I've only got one Pro now (sold the MSP last week).

Word. I'm having reverse price shock across the board. My wife and I are both RN's. I work adult ICU, she does pediatrics and IT work. Job security for life ... beats getting laid off every three years when I worked Aerospace.
