I think it would look dope. In order to pull of 18's on a P5 it needs to be slammed. 18's riding high is ass. 2"s should be good. If you aren't into performance and don't mind fender rolling I'd go for it. VIP FTW!!! I actually photoshopd these on a P5 (looked good to me), but some asshole broke into my house and stole my Mac....soooo many P5 photoshops I really wanted to share.

i know rims look kindda heavy but im not going into performance, i might have some problems with the brakes and fenders but like oem_plus said i can roll the fenders so i wont be rubbing...and i sure would like to see a VIP MP5...never seen one before (and dont know if would look good?)...

yeah 18" on stock hight would probably look like a miny dunk!....
thats why i first stated (slammed of dropped)....

There is an idea of what 18's look like...there was not even enough gap in the fenders to put my finger...btw...these were on my car because I was bored...and only on there for maybe a couple of hours...

JAJA yeahhh sure......im trowing some 24" on the familia!!!
naaaaaaaaaaaa never mind!!! instead ill trow some 15" and install some hydrolics

15's fit great when you lower the car plus you get better milage and free up some power. i ditched the 17" racing harts a long time ago on the msp for 15" slipstreams

well i know 15" will be great if we talking about gas and and to free up some power! but personally i think 15" looks to small on a protege5..im saying this because i currently have some 15" rotas in my 2" lowered mp5 and for my taste i think their to small and im trying to upgrade to some 17" or 18" which ever fits better.....but yeah you're right in power and specially in gas saving
but im not much into performance with the mp5...

I have 18's .... i'd say don't do it because the ride is real crappy when you have no sidewalls....

p.s. i have a taller tire on there now. ride improved some, and filled up that gap !

You are going to rub REALLY BAD and cut the s*** out of your rear tire sidewalls. and IMO its not a good idea cuz those wheels are ass

18" wheels aren't made to look good on a car this small. Why not find something you like in a 16" or 17"? They'll work better, won't look so out of place and there are plenty of flashy looking rims in those sizes.

I had the 15" rota slipstreams off my boyfriends msp (shadow102) on my P5 while he was fixing and painting my rims, and they fit and looked great. I have one of the lowest available drops for the P5--(short of cutting springs or full coil-overs) I believe its almost 2" all the way around.. 1.8 in the back and 1.7 in the front if I'm not mistaken... at any rate, with the right size tire the 15" look amazing.. really filled out the wheel well along with the illusion of being even lower... I dunno I got alot of compliments.. 18" wheels are just to much for a p5... not my deal. Its your car, do what you want. (shrug)

yeah i guess (shadow102) is a lucky guy to have a girl that like cars as much as we guys do=-)....but n-e ways....i guess 15" are alright but i guess is not my cup of tea of having 15" on my car.....like you said is my car and i can do what ever with it but i just like hearing opinions from some other people,,,,
but thinking about it i might go with 17" instead of 18"(pullup)
