Ello folks!

I was talking with the dealer and we were going back and forth on prices for MGM GT MS3 and i shot a number at him and he asked if I had an S plan number. If I did he could get it for a lil lower. I know that the S plan is like the family discount and such but is it just that a Number?? If so, all i have to do is give him a number and BOOM i get the discount?!(boom07)

Any info on this would be helpful...

if all i need is the number, any of you guys got one? I'll be your best friend!!(nana)

Thanks

They verify the S-Plan against your employer/source. The S Plan doesn't apply to the MS3. I tried.

The dealer will try to tell you that you'll get a better price with S Plan to get you to sign, but it won't go through.

That's right, you can't get the S plan on the MS3. AFAIK, I don't think there's any incentives available on the MS3 at all.

Actually you can use an S-Plan...in So Cal anyway.

I got confirmation from 2 people who work at the Mazda headquarters that the S-Plan does apply. And a couple dealers I got quotes from did give me the S-Plan price.

However, S-Plan is the dealers invoice. It also includes their shipping fees. And most dealerships won't go any lower than that because the MS3 can sell themselves.

The person I got the S-Plan from took down my address and License # and they dealership is supposed to check your S-Plan number vs that info...

Seems like any of the hot hatch segment, or other performance cars from the various makers are always excluded from special rebates, deals etc....

This also seems to extend to warranties as well. unfortunately thats the way it is, and it then boils down to how good your negotiating skills are. performance costs money.

Personally, if I was looking for something to mod the hell out of, I would pick up an old beater and tweak that out, instead of getting something brand new to work on. Brand new + mod = empty pockets LOL....

Sorry guys but incorrect.

I just got S-plan pricing on my 2008.5 MS3 3 weeks ago. The S-plan pricing is 23,535 on the GT. That price includes destination and fees.

So what you end up with is 23,535 + tax for a plain vanilla GT (no options).

The 2008's, I was told, were set at 23,370ish +tax

My S-plan # came from my girlfriends Dad... they didn't ask me any questions at all, just wanted the number.

if you feel uber generous PM me with the #!

if not you are a evil nazi poo bot!
naw no worries if you aren't down.

Kobyoshi, what state did you get the car? I tried in Texas and they wouldn't let me do it, and the dealership specifically said MS3 wasn't part of it. That also sounds odd that they didn't check your info against the plan # immediately.

edit: That's also really weird the site says it's available on MS3, so I'll be making some calls today to find out what's up. That site could possibly be out of date.

figure it out Z, they'll work with you. I dont think Mazda is in to dick their own ppl.

I ordered my Speed3 in Oct of 06 and it came in March of 07 and I used S plan with no hassle. Granted this was over a year ago, but I was able to use the S Plan code that was given to me.

dealers should jump at S plan because they do get a small kick back for it. not much, and i think its double holdback. dealers dont typically care where the PIN comes from. i get the almighty EPlan now since i work for a mazda gold cup store. i will be trading in my 2007 True Red MS3 GT for a 2008.5 CWP GT, and i will be paying about 22,500 or 22, 600. i'll have to double check.

I have the X-plan through work and every dealership bar one refused to deal with me on it. They all claimed that this is a limited production special edition that they had no problems selling for sticker. I bet at least half were lying that they got anyone to pay sticker, but that's fine.

I ended up buying from the one guy who would work with me.

I got it out of Michigan. The salesman said that the order came from Mazda Corporate that he could take S-Plan on the Speeds for the first time ever... so whatever that is worth.
The interesting thing is... I never mentioned I had a S-plan number. I know you are supposed to, but it must have slipped my mind. He called me back several days later and told me they just got word. This was at the end of March or early April.
It wouldn't surprise me if the dealer didn't know.... most of the dealers I talked with didn't even know about the 2008.5 refresh....(boom06)

Several people at my work have used the S Plan and the dealer ends up billing the company where you got the splan # from and the guys got a bill from our company. Either your employers overlooked it or you have a generous employer.

Just my 2 cents and what I've heard from our HR Incentives Leader. /shrug

when i go online to see the eligible vehicles with my s plan, any mazdaspeed vehicle is excluded. same goes for ford and svt, and same goes with dodge srt.
